i’ve been trying to calculate the distance and lack of your presence. as if your smell lingers on my pillow for hours but in my head for days and i cannot run from the thoughts in my mind that you find yourself in, I am not fast. Well, fast enough

i have been ignoring the signs of my past finding a way to slip back in to my current

i’ve been looking at old photos and i’ve been trying to remember and experience the emotions that i felt in the moment it was being taken. i can remember most of my dreams i had when i was younger but i try so hard to forget so why do i keep remembering.

do you remember when you left how you said you’d write often and make sure to see me but the truth is I haven’t seen you in over 7 years and I’ve started to loose the memory of how i felt in that moment we took that picture that stays in my room in the drawer- right next to my bed.
