The moment we watched Sk♾, not only did we decide we were going to cosplay Langa and Reki, but we DID IT! The two of them hit incredibly close to home for each of us, respectively. Langa felt like a reflection of myself, and a comfort character all at once; I discovered him at a time when I think I really needed to. Replace snowboarding with surfing, and he got me. We were starting to wonder where the cameras were, and how long the creators had been watching us LOL,,, They’re so special to both of us. Sparks did such an amazing job with both our wigs AND boards! I’m SO impressed. I was scared to touch my board (they’re fully functional and made from completely blank decks—so, one of a kind), but have since found it impossible not to practice on! I could go on for hours, so I’ll stop with a big “thank you” to my roomie and Sleep Paralysis Demon, Reno, for taking these for us!
