I'm really late to this but my first introduction to Seth Jarvis was funny bc it was during the Olympics and the broadcasters were making a really big deal about his friends. Since I didn't know anything about his hockey, I began thinking of him as "the guy with the friends", because apparently having tight friendships with non-hockey ppl at that level is so interesting that it deserves to be discussed multiple times on national television
