one of my favorite pieces of (kind of) unintentional characterization in hlvrai is just how Gordon is almost constantly touching someone. he just has to grab people. he can't even actually touch anyone and he's always touchin.

a big part of it is Wayne gesturing excessively (such a good detail generally, it makes hlvrai a lot more alive and contrasts gordon with the others more than us seeing through his eyes already does) but it's so important to me. paired with the aspect of the player supposedly being a very lonely person, the idea that he needs to have some kind of physical contact so badly that he's reaching out and touching something that isnt there is so. aouuuuhhhhh
