God, Jimmy was really starting to piss you off. He knew how to wind you up, how to annoy you in all the right ways. And you couldn’t stand it. You were all trying to enjoy a day where you didn’t have to deal with some sort of drama. Or, at least, that’s what you were trying to do. You were sat outside of your caravan, trying to enjoy the warm summer sun. A magazine in your hands, you really thought you were able to enjoy the day to yourself, and even get a little tan in the process.
But you couldn’t be more wrong. Not even fifteen minutes after you laid out your chair and started to sunbathe, something - or someone, rather - blocked your sun. Immediately noticing the sudden shade, you placed your readings down, taking your sunglasses off to glare at the man in front of you. Of course it was Jimmy. He had a smug grin plastered on his pale features, making you narrow your eyes bitterly. “I was doing something,” Your tone was blunt, getting the point across that you wanted to be left alone. Today was supposed to be your day, and you didn’t want anyone to ruin it for you. Especially not him.
“Looks like you’re doin’ nothin’ to me, doll,” He retorted, and you held back a sigh. Couldn’t you enjoy yourself for once? Or was that forbidden here? Obviously it was the latter. He always found a way to get on your nerves, and those stupid little shit eating grins... He knew what he was doing, and that just pissed you off more.

After your last day of relaxation went to waste, you made a promise to yourself that you wouldn’t let another one ruin itself. Today was no different. You were going to enjoy your day if you could help it, dammit. Well, to be fair, it wasn’t exactly a real day off. You just weren’t going to go out of your caravan and not show up on stage to practice your act like Elsa would want you to do. It was extremely petty, but at this point, you didn’t care. You wanted your day of peace that was rightfully yours. Especially without none other than Jimmy Darling.
Sitting at your vanity, a soft sigh escaped your lips. Perhaps today really would be your day. Quite some time from the morning had passed already, and nobody was knocking at your door. Things seemed like they were going to work out. “Thank god,” You muttered under your breath, picking up your brush, only to start brushing through your locks. Even Elsa hadn’t shown up at your door. Granted, she probably would’ve sent someone to go check on you, but maybe everyone forgot about you? The thought didn’t even upset you. Honestly, that was the best case scenario right now.
You quietly hummed to yourself, getting lost in a daze as you started to braid your hair. You weren’t sure what you were going to do after this. Maybe you’d try sunbathing again. That was always nice and relaxing. You weren’t too sure, though. You had a ton of possibilities yet almost none at the same time. You were sure that someone would see you one way or another, so you couldn’t avoid it forever. Oh well. As you tied your hair off, you decided that you would go sunbathe. So, pushing your vanity chair out, you stood up. You went to place your brush and hair ties away, leaving them until the next morning.
“We were lookin’ for ya this morning,” A voice pulled you out of your trance. You jumped but immediately recognized it. Jimmy’s. You spun on your heels, wide eyes staring at him. “What, did I scare ya?” He asked, obviously pretty amused. You, on the other hand, were far from.
“What the hell is your problem?” You had no problem raising your voice, hands clenching into fists. How the hell did he even get into your caravan in the first place? Obviously anyone with a brain would’ve taken a sign that you wanted to be left alone.

The idea of relaxation was foreign to you now. Every time you wanted to enjoy yourself, Jimmy always found a way to ruin it. He found a way to press every single button of yours. You complained about it to Eve, and she just told you to get over yourself. “If I was a couple inches taller, I’d sock him right in his face-” You complained audibly, trying to eat your lunch with the insanely tall woman. In peace.
“Who’re we trying to fight?” Jimmy’s voice cut through your conversation. God. Dammit. Before you could even react, he stole your plate, chowing down as he looked at you, innocent eyes flashing. Deciding you had enough, you stood up, glaring right at him as you walked back to your caravan.
You wasted no time in picking up the pace, just wanting to get away with him. Once inside, you slammed the door shut angrily, flopping down on your bed. Maybe you’d finally relax now and just brood on your bed. Whatever. You dug your head into your pillows, trying to block out the outside world, focused on your miserable and pissed off thoughts. Who the hell did Jimmy think he was, anyways?
All of a sudden, you felt someone touch your shoulder. Pulling yourself out of your pillows, you hissed audibly, mostly out of surprise. “Get the fuck away from me,” You angrily spat, voice laced with venom. Why couldn’t Jimmy just leave you alone? You wanted nothing to do with him and he kept bothering you. It was like a game to him.
“Why’d you run off?” He asked, ignoring your glares.
“What do you want from me now? Piss me off so you can keep enjoying this little game?” You growled, standing up now. You’d walk out of your own van if you had to. Quite frankly, you gave zero shits right now.
“What?” He asked. He was just acting like he was all dumbfounded and surprised. God, you couldn’t stand that.
“Can’t you just leave me alone?” Your voice softened, almost as if you were pleading.
“What do you mean ‘little game’?” His eyes watched your every move carefully. He wasn’t going to leave you alone, that much was really obvious. He remained sat on your bed, not backing down.
“You know damn well what I’m talking about.” There was no way that he didn’t. This whole innocent act was making you even more irked and irritated. However, he just stared at you, tilting his head like a puppy. “Do you enjoy pissing me off? Do you get some kind of pleasure from annoying me to no end?” You weren’t afraid to yell again, daring to get closer to him. “You’re so goddamn annoying and I know you’re doing it on purpose!” Your glared eyes didn’t even notice the surprised look on his face. “Just tell me you hate me and leave it at that.”
“How can I hate someone that I’m in love with?” His voice and tone were a lot softer and kinder than yours.
“W-What?” You stammered on your words, not expecting him to say such a thing. He was definitely just saying that. He was teasing you. He was messing with you.
“I never knew you were that mad,” He admitted, almost ashamed. “I thought you liked it,” His voice was almost a nervous chuckle, and you shook your head. How were you supposed to like this? “I was just teasin’,” He continued to admit, as if he were confessing. Because, in reality, he was. “I wasn’t tryin’ to do any harm.”
Your gaze watched his frame as he stood up now, getting close to you. You were still processing what he said before. Someone that he was in love with? “You love me?” You choked out, wide eyes looking at him.
“Yeah. Ain’t it obvious?” You couldn’t help but look to his lips.
“No.”
Jimmy seemed to frown at your answer, pushing your chin up so he could get a better look at you. “Can I kiss you?” He asked, voice still nervous. You were bored. Actually, as a matter of fact, you were quite upset. This last week or so, James had been nowhere to be found. He was giving you the cold shoulder. Or that was how Sally and John put it, anyways. They always called you his new plaything behind your back. After all, you were his sloppy seconds after the Countess. But she was dead, James knew that. Everyone did. You were in this goddamn hotel like everyone else was, but that didn’t mean the gossip stopped. While Sally changed for the better, using her time in the Cortez to blog and post on instagram, you still felt her judging glares. And, to be honest, you didn’t feel like you were good enough anymore. When you and James first started ‘courting’ (as he put it) he was always there to reassure you that you weren’t a rebound. You were his kitten, his doll, whatever cheesy nicknames he called you. But everyone at the Cortez was doubting that. They made bets behind your back about how long you would last before he got bored of you. They gave you, collectively, two months. It had been six. They were all waiting and counting down the day until he got bored of you or tried to hurt you. Some were even anticipating it. But he said that would never happen.
You were starting to doubt his words, if you were being honest. Perhaps you were just a bit pessimistic. He chided you on being so down all the time, but you couldn’t help it. And, considering he was seemingly avoiding you, you found it really hard to believe you were still his kitten - or whatever the hell that even meant now. But here you were, sat in Room 64 - his room - your room. ‘Our room.’ You could still hear him say that, but you almost felt unwelcome. Like you didn’t belong in the room. Like you didn’t belong in the Cortez. Yet you were still waiting there for him, like he would show up. You even dolled yourself up in that nice, expensive lingerie he’d gotten you only weeks ago. It felt wrong to even wear it at this point. Like everything that had once been yours was no longer.
Trying to push those thoughts out of your troubled mind, you kept telling yourself that he’d show himself soon. ‘It’ll be alright,’ You whispered to yourself, repeating the same mantra that you’d fallen into a routine of. However, you decided you had enough. You stood up, grabbing your satin pink robe and covering yourself up, sliding on some ballet flats and opening the door. You didn’t bother locking it. Anyone with roaming eyes could find a way in regardless. Anything private wasn’t private here. It was a bitter thought, your head roaming back to every other guest here, commenting and whispering about you.
You walked the halls for quite some time, trying to listen in to see if James could be anywhere. You knew he couldn’t have left. In a way, that was somewhat of a relief, but, barely. The hotel was so big - he could be almost anywhere. He could be hiding in plain sight for all you knew. Perhaps he was following you around now, totally invisible to your mortal eyes.
All of a sudden, though, as you passed by one of the recently vacant rooms, you heard something. A low grunt. Part of you wrinkled your nose in disgust, mind immediately roaming to the idea of a man on a ‘business’ trip in that room. However, a curiosity was quick to build up in you, and you braced yourself, creaking the door as gently as you could. It was dark. The moonlight barely crept into the room, the only thing giving it just enough light was the dimly lit hallway.
And there he was. James. Your eyes widened at the sight of his dark, tall silhouette, but you knew it was him. You could see a figure on the bed, the sound of metal clanking against the metal headboard, almost as if it were handcuffs.
Without hesitation, you turned the lights on. Lo and behold a man was cuffed to the bed, blood staining both his pale skin and the white comforter and sheets. James craned his neck calmly, looking you down for a second before turning toward his victim. You could’ve sworn they softened for a second, though the man on the bed started struggling, letting out muffled screams. He was screaming for help. You gave him a pitiful look, though you scrambled over to James. It was about damn time you saw him. A week of nothing and he couldn’t even say a word to you? _“James,” _You whispered, pressing your torso to his back. Your hands started to wander, one remaining on his hips, holding him tightly. The other, however, wandered to his groin, giving his clothed member a squeeze.

Much to his surprise, though, you could’ve sworn his eyes widened when your satin robe cascaded to the floor. “Mister March,” You swooned, knowing how he liked such formality. You knew his eyes lit up, you didn’t even have to see it.
“Kitten, have you no decency around our guest?” He was trying so hard to be annoyed and irritated at you.

He would clean it up later. For now, he had more important matters to attend to.

Thankfully it didn’t take long for the elevator to open, and so you immediately stepped in, pressing the button to your floor.

Or that’s what they told you. You were far from innocent. Behind your beautiful eyes lay many things you didn’t dare share. The thoughts, the sights, the acts, and all the rule breaking. You were far from a perfect Sister. Nobody here was, though they did a better job of hiding it than you did, leaving you absolutely clueless about their desires and destruction.
You were cautious at first, but you slowly let it slip. You would regularly monitor all of the patients, as you duty stated, but before you knew it, you would’ve already snuck away to find a specific patient.
That specific patient was Mister Kit Walker. The infamous Bloody Face. A literal lady-killer. You didn’t care about his crimes. You believed many of the people who were here didn’t really belong here. None were truly crazy until they got here. You were always able to see the good in everyone, and usually everyone admired that.
Especially Kit. He, quite literally, wormed his way into your heart. You knew it was against everything you stood for, but his charm slowly broke down your wall. Before you knew it, you were regularly sneaking around just to be with him. You tried every moment you could, and, as of late, you were getting almost too obvious. You weren’t careful at all. You were sloppy, and even some patients began to notice.
Of all the patients that mentioned it to Sister Jude or Sister Mary Eunice, the two would scoff and ignore them. They were crazy. After all, ‘An innocent girl such as yourself would never do such a thing.’ It was an excellent cover up, really. Of course, you felt conflicted each time the gorgeous man came into your sights. This really was wrong. As a nun, you weren’t supposed to have such thoughts about anyone, nonetheless an unstable patient in the Asylum you worked at. But, each time one of the patients accused you, everyone simply took it as they were crying wolf. They got punished for your wrongdoings, and you went away unscathed. Simply because the purity and innocence you carried was far too persuading.
But they were wrong, very wrong. You were far from innocent, nor were you a perfect little angel that they made you out to be. Nobody at Briarcliff was a Saint, and the trend wasn’t going to stop at just you.
You were roaming the patient’s rooms, searching for a familiar dark haired man. Being unable to find him, you sighed, figuring he was either with Doctor Threadson or in the kitchens. You secretly found yourself hoping he was in the kitchens. Not many people stayed down there, only a few that were lucky enough to be allowed to do so - so it was an easy opportunity to see him. Taking a final look around the rooms before you, you gracefully dipped your head and headed toward the kitchens, carefully glancing over your shoulder to make sure that nobody had been watching you, more specifically if one of the Sisters had been watching you.
Finding the coast clear, you slipped down into the kitchen going totally unnoticed. You could only assume that Kit had bakery duty, but you found yourself hoping as such.You weren’t always a filthy sinner. As a matter of fact, you had been one of the few pieces of innocence that Briarcliff had left, all up until Kit Walker, the infamous Bloodyface, showed up. From the minute he arrived, he was quick to grow to like you - he immediately called you pretty, gorgeous, and just about anything under the sun. You always blushed at his compliments, and then dismissed them immediately. Then came the thoughts... The not so innocent ones.
At night you lied awake wondering what his hands felt like on your skin, what his lips felt like on yours. You were horrified at first, but as the thoughts turned into his hand slowly sliding up your thighs; your breathing hitching as his opposing hand groped your breast, they got harder and harder to ignore.For a short while you tried to ignore him and repress the thoughts, but it only lasted a mere day before he picked up on your strange behavior. He knew what you had been up to. He knew you wanted to touch yourself to the thoughts of him touching you...
And with that thought, you shuddered, quickly coming back to reality as you looked at the kitchen ahead of you. Walking around the racks of bread, you let an audible sigh escape your lips. Perhaps he hadn’t been on baking duty. You couldn’t help but feel a sense of disappointment lurking in your heart. That was, until you felt an arm attach to your waist. Gasping loudly, you were quickly shushed by an all too familiar voice. Kit’s. “Shh, dollface, it’s just me.” He grinned, turning you around to press a chaste kiss against your lips. “You scared me.” You breathed, pulling away immediately; though he was quick to pull you closer for another kiss, trying to intensify it to make up for lost time.
Your quick rendezvous with Kit had gone on for a little while now, but you still felt guilty and remorseful each time his lips touched yours. It was almost like a drug, you knew it was bad, but you wanted more. No, you needed more.
“Kit-” You interjected, quickly breaking contact between you two as he let out a noise of protest. “I don’t want to get caught. I want to see you get out of Briarcliff. I want everyone to know you’re innocent. I can’t jeopardize everything anymore. What if Sister Jude finds us? You’ll never get out of here and I’ll be shipped away and gone forever.”
“Who knows, they might just think you’re crazy enough to be put in here.” He joked, arms still slinked around your waist as he pressed his body up against yours. You couldn’t help but frown at the thought. “You have to get out of here. I know what this place does to people, Kit. You don’t deserve to be here.”
“Neither do you.” He challenged with a now saddened tone. “This place ruined you... I- I ruined you.” He mumbled, but you shook your head. “Look at me.” You ordered, but he could only bury his face in the crook of your neck, his shallow breaths against your skin making you shiver. “I love you, Kit Walker, okay?” You tried to remind him, and he could only nod against your neck. “You’re getting out of here, you have to. I don’t care if I do. I can leave if I want to, you can’t.” He finally pulled his face away from you, eyes now meeting yours.
“You love me?” He asked, almost teasing you. You flustered at your newfound confession, but tried to remain serious. “Kit.” You tried to stay strong and unwavering, but his tone and grip on your waist soon turned into his hands travelling to your hips. “Marry me.” You couldn’t help but be taken aback by his words, only looking at him quizzically. “What?” He asked, trying to keep his voice quiet, an imminent smile on his features. “I mean it.” He spoke, now wavering over your ear as he began whispering. “After I get out of here, I’m taking you with me. I wanna marry you.” You shuddered against his touch, remaining speechless, almost unsure if he was being serious or not. “I’m being one-hundred-percent serious.” He tried to assure you, and you wanted to believe him. “Kit,” You looked up at him with sad eyes. You almost felt guilty for everything, almost as if him being here was your fault. “I want to take care of you.” You blushed yet again as he admitted his words, and it was your turn to bury your head in the crook of his neck.
“So, what do you say?” He teased yet again, kissing your forehead. “Yes, yes,” You spoke breathlessly, a sense of hope filling you. You were determined to help him get out of here. That had been your mission from day one. From the start, you always saw the good in Kit Walker, and you were determined to make sure everyone else did, too.
