How do you do fabric studies? Do you have some of "insert fabric type" with you on hand or are you working on recreating an image of that fabric and thus learning how to replicate it?

I just came across some pretty photos on the internet and I'm like HOLLY SHIT that's gorgeous , I need to draw it!!! and spend about 15 to 30 minutes to study it that’s all!❤️ try it it's really fun! 😂 * I do play with it sometimes and change the colors, but try to understand the textures and forms! and have fun with it.
