He’s going to be really upset if he ever finds out that I cheated at the staring contest. Kano thought as he laughed loudly at Konoha bumping into furniture. He felt a pang of sympathy when he saw him begin to cry, but the feeling was quickly replaced with excitement when he thought up a new way to get the best out of the bet. “Hey, Konoha, why don’t we have a snack?” Kano asked as he held out a hand for him to take.

Konoha continued to kneel there, sobbing, until Kano mentioned having a snack. He stopped crying and grabbed the deceiver's hand and stood up. "What are we going to eat...?" He wiped away his tears, looking up at the teen. It was obvious he didn't know, or didn't believe that Kano cheated. But if he ever found out, he'd probably shrug it off. Maybe say something that meant he didn't care or didn't mind. Even though it caused him to be pain like this./p>

"Oh.... Really?" Konoha completely believed in him, of course. He began to walk around, but since he couldn't tell what was what, he bumped into a table and the couch. He fell down onto his knees, and continued to kneel there pathetically, crying.

They made the rest of their trip to the store in silence, and when they got there, a happy smile lit up her face. "Ahhh, I love the smell of overpriced food and sweaty shoppers." Momo let out a giggle and shook her head a bit.

"Sweaty...? Why are they sweaty...? They're just shopping, right?" Konoha asked, looking around for the food she had mentioned. "I think... We should go there first." He pointed to a nearby pretzel stand, dragging Momo over to it.

"But I wouldn't mind carrying the bags for you. Really." Although he sounded like he was being sarcastic, he was completely sincere. He's been asked to do it before, and he was fine with it back then. "What are you going to while you're here?"

Ack don’t tell me he’s crying!? “H-hey Konoha don’t cry, don’t cry! We’ll get out of here soon so it’ll be alright, okay?” Oh how he wished he was good at comforting people. Clumsily taking out a handkerchief, the teen hands it over with an awkward smile. “You should wipe your tears with this instead of your sleeves.” He mutters, looking away, all the while feeling awkward.

"Eh?" He actually thought he was mad at him? "No of course not. Why would I be?" There wasn’t any solid reason to be mad. Normally he would be but right now? He’s actually calm about all this. As he was lead towards the path Ene had given them, Shintaro wondered if he actually had enough money for later. It was obvious he’d be spending a lot once he and Konoha find a diner or the like.

"Alright..." He grabbed the handkerchief, feeling the cloth with his fingers, and handed it back to Shintaro shortly after. "I'm fine." The android had resumed the usual unreadable face he normally always had, handing the handkerchief back to the NEET. "...It feels nice, though. My sleeves will dry later. Don't worry." He came to the next intersection, glancing at both of the options he had,. "It was right, right...?" He then turned right, keeping his grip on the younger male's arm. "And right again...?" He muttered this part to himself, keeping Ene's directions in mind.

"I thought I was bothering you, and that I was making you mad..." He stopped walking and began shaking again, about to cry for the second time that day. "I'm sorry..." But instead of it taking a while for the tears to fall down his face, he started crying after apologizing, hiccuping a few times. He turned to Shintaro, and slowly held his hand out for the handkerchief.
