  Emil had taken a not-so necessary trip, or rather, not-so wanted, back to his home in Paralia. It was longer than he felt needed, but as per agreement to his move prior it was required of him to visit them at least once a month. He tried to get it over with as best he could but even then he put it off.

  Lost in thought about the previous trip, he made the rather unfortunate discovery of finding that he got off at the wrong stop. “Oh, no." He mumbled, looking at the list of train arrivals on his paper. He had to wait another hour. It wasn’t too bad, but.. Honestly, he’d rather he didn’t have to be here.

  He kept himself firm in place, watching the clock a bit away from him. At least 25 minutes passed when he felt someone tapping him on the shoulder, surprising him. Out of everyone he was more surprised that it was him who was picked to be asked, he was rather small for his age and if it weren’t for the fact that everyone else was moving and.. he was closest, she probably would have asked someone else. Oh, to the question— He glanced down at his paper and without looking back at her face which he so carefully avoided he worked up as much volume in his voice as he could, “Thirty-five." ..Hopefully she understood he meant minutes.

  Just to be safe, “Thirty-five minutes.." He was quieter with the repetition. He thought over asking if she’d like to stand with him as it’d be more comforting having someone else stand with him than just stay by himself. This time, when he tried to speak, he couldn’t get anything out. He could feel the words in his throat yet nothing. It was a nice try.

    Thirty-five minutes?

    She couldn't help but sigh a bit. "Great... I'm going to miss my program." She could always catch a rerun of it tomorrow, but that means she would have to try to avoid spoilers online. Oh well, it was no big deal for her.

    She stood in silence for a minute before taking a small peek at the stranger next to her. She hadn't seen him before. Then again, the life in Kairos wasn't as personal as the one in Paralia. From what she knew, everyone knew everyone in Paralia. She had some relatives there but she only went there for family reunions and delivery trips for her work.

    "Sooo..." Hakuno was the worst at small talk. She was a rather quiet and unnoticeable girl already, so having to create small talk was almost like taking five tests at once. It was rather hard to talk to strangers and try to get to know them.

    However, it would be really awkward for her to simply stand next to him silently for thirty-five minutes. That was probably even creepier.

    "Do you live here? In the city, I mean." That was a start.

Cautious in her steps, the Exalt allowed her senses to be her guide, sight to move her hands, hearing to tell her when to move her legs. She was becoming one in her actions that needed no one else. Digits grasping fabric within her hands, she held it close to her body to see if it would be a nice fit. The way it rested upon her, she would have purchased it quick haste but there was a pause in her actions. She could be charitable this once since she spotted someone who was browsing around the clothes racks.

Placing the contents back onto it’s rack, she turned from her spot to question the person who caught her interest but to see them leave so soon told Lucina that she should return back to what was more important. Buying  various cloths for her and her sister, Cynthia. It wasn’t every day the female was given this chance, she absolutely adored it unlike other’s but everything she usually chose was cast to the side.

This time, she would not allow that to happen. Finding something that Cynthia would care to wear was of most priority. Eyes scanning another display rack of dresses, there were two that had caught her attention. The way they were stitched, how the colors blended in with one another. She was sure that they would perfectly shape the body that the younger was lacking. Fine with her decision, she believed that having someone else give their opinion would not hurt.

Mouth slowly opening for the first time within the store, a light ‘ahh’ sound forming as words much more desired spoken. "May I have your attention?" She requested, holding up one of the dresses that she had chose. "Tell me, which of these tickles your fancy? Would it be the first or.." Silence following after now as her other hand raised up the second choice, "Maybe this would be much more preferable?"

"I am to shop for my sibling and I haven’t an idea which one of the two lovely dresses I should purchase. I was hoping for a hand with this."

    When it came to fashion, Hakuno wasn't the greatest person to ask advice to. Of course, that didn't mean she was completely hopeless when it came to the subject. She knew what was in style and what wasn't in style at all. She wasn't as blind as a certain Exalt.

    She was rather surprised when a beautiful girl approached her. Hakuno didn't exactly stick out, nor did she look fashionable in her school uniform, but it seemed like this girl needed some help in choosing dresses. She placed the skirt that she was looking at and turned to the blue haired beauty.

    "Oh, sure. I don't mind. It's nice to see people shopping for other people. Let's see--"

    Oh sweet baby Jesus what the hell was she holding in her hands.

    The colour from Hakuno's face drained slightly. Sure, she had no experience in fashion but Lucina's choices were... Interesting, to say the least. Still, how could someone be so blind when it came to fashion? Could a person even wear this publicly?

    "... If you want my personal opinion, um, I'd maybe choose... Something else. They're a bit sore on the eyes, especially that bright orange... Ah, here, follow me." The schoolgirl took Lucina's hand and began to lead her to down the aisle. She felt as though it was her duty to save both this girl and her sister from embarrassment. Especially the latter.

    "There's a few dresses down here that are not as... Flashy as the ones you chose. I think darker colours like a navy blue might look good on your sister."

i'm sorry for not being active!! midterm was going on so i wanted to make sure i did well on any tests i had coming up. but i'm on break right now!

um, if anyone wants to roleplay.... i have an open here if you wanna respond, or i can make a private thread if you have any other ideas! i'll be getting to replies soon enough. i've been a bit exhausted due to running around so they may come later or tomorrow.

    "Of course I'm left alone to do all the work."

    By the time Hakuno was done with the group work she was assigned ( more like, dumped on her ), the school's librarian poked her head in to inform the young girl that the campus would be closed in ten minutes. That was fine, considering she already sent her group members' the files they needed and she was already packing up.

    She grabbed her bag once she slipped her coat on and began to trot down the hallways at a slow pace. She wasn't really rushing to get home. Today was her day off from work and as usual she would be alone in her apartment. She didn't have a roommate and her parents helped paid for the expensives. A roommate would be nice to have but one was not needed.

    Hakuno was kind of a lone wolf anyway. Or, well, a lone wolf that no one seemed to see. She had friends but they were friends she went shopping with on the weekends and ate lunch with at school. They weren't personal friends. 

    She never did stand out. She was rather plain and unnoticeable. She was pretty, but she wasn't beautiful like some of the girls at her school.

    "Maybe I need to start standing out more," she mumbled to herself as she made her way to the train station. Taking an evening train ride from the campus wasn't something she did often. She wasn't sure when it would be arriving or not.

    "Sorry to bother you..." The brunette went to the nearest person, tapping them on the shoulder. "But you wouldn't happen to know when this train arrives at the station, do you?"

"Christa! Will you go out with me!?"

♦ ”O-Oh… I…" She’d expected as much. This wasn’t the first time she’d been called out alone with a guy after school because he claimed he wanted to ‘talk to her about something’. It turned out this time the venue was a fast food restaurant not too far from the school.

Christa Renz had an unusual relationship with the majority of her classmates to say the least. She was nice, helpful, and very pretty despite the fact that she wasn’t even five feet tall. She had become something of a ‘goddess’ to a lot of the guys, even if she herself weren’t aware of that name. But this lead to a lot of the other girls becoming jealous of her and not liking her. It was more of a curse than anything, really.

“I’m sorry, I don’t really know you...” This was what? The third time this school year so far? She wasn’t particularly troubled by the sentiment, but she felt bad turning people down… “But if you’d like to be closer friends, that’d be okay!”

And yet another innocent heart was unknowingly shattered by the angel’s smile. As the boy ran out of the restaurant, clearly barely holding in his tears, Christa looked rather lost. “Did I… do something wrong…?" she asked nobody in particular as a gaze of guilt stared down at her own feet.

    It was slightly amusing to watch a high school boy run out of the restaurant. It was not fun, however, to be bumped into and dropping her books on the floor.

    Truth be told, Hakuno wasn't that mad over it ( at least she wasn't carrying coffee like last time ) so she just sighed and picked up her books without saying anything. She was used to not really being noticed.

    Hearing a voice, the girl looked up to see a rather pretty girl mumbling to herself. Standing up, Hakuno could only chuckle slightly. So, that boy must have ran out because of rejection.

    "No, you didn't do anything wrong. People handle rejections differently." She spoke in a bored tone, pointing to the door. "Looks like he couldn't handle being shot down."

「Especially by a pretty girl like her. This probably isn't the first time she's rejected someone. Poor guy. He'll find someone eventually.」

    Poor girl. She really must have done this a lot judging by the guilty look on her face. "Though, maybe you should have let him off in a... Nicer way? I guess?" Why was Hakuno even getting in this? She knew nothing about love.
