idk man sometimes i like it when video game writers are allowed to plan a series of events that happen in a specific order and affect each other in turn to become an overarching narrative, and i don’t mind trusting those writers to take me through those events in the order that is emotionally effective. i don’t really care if a game forces me to go through the forest area first before i can attempt the icy area because maybe there’s things that happen in the forest area that inform later scenes in the icy area. maybe we don't need more superficial player choice open world concepts if it comes at the cost of the ability to write a story with actual significant plot events and character development in each section

i kinda dont care anymore but just to make my perspective more clear as it seems to be a common misunderstanding, i dont think the finale was amazing. But i do think it was incredibly personal. I dont really see why i need to be of the opinion that this was a great finale for me to say people are not getting it. Analysing flawed media is actually really fun, especially queer ones. I do see that part of why it was misunderstood may be due to the flaws in its writing, but i think that only makes it more important to try to understand. I saw so many people feeling like shit because they couldnt predict jax was trans, and all i have to say is that you shouldnt feel like youre stupid for that. But sometimes things like this happen in real life, often infact. People who are flawed and horrible are often deeper inside and you dont expect it unless you really pay attention. Thats why i think its so human. You dont have to forfeit your security to harmful people, but robbing them of their complexity is making your life so much more vunerable.
Yeah, jax is misogynistic, shes an abuser, shes a manipulator, shes a bad person. Shes also homeless and trans and mentally ill. Factors that define our struggles and reactions do not cancel out our actions and behaviours. I understand its scary to think that way, many people who opress minorities only view the most "flawed" members. Its easier to detangle them from their own identities to vie for your own sanctity. But you are only putting disadvantaged people into a pit of malice purely because you arent willing to humanise the struggles that lead them there.
Creating an opposition is easier than understanding the human mistakes of harmful others. Its how our political climate has gotten so destructive, we boil people down to their general aspects. My post was "vagueposted" about i suppose, and i notice they attributed a lot of things i said to a lack of intelligence. It seemed to be spurred on by a self defense mechanism for the perceived attack i made on them not liking the finale. We like to boil down arguments or people to the emotions they made us feel to protect ourselves from harm. Its natural, but it isnt healthy, at least in our complex society. Its how stereotypes and hatred are born, we view someone at their worst and define their worst as their entire being.
Im not angry at the children who misunderstood, im angry at the adults who perpetuate a childish understanding of the complex narrative attempted.
This is easily one of the CRAZIEST videos I've ever gotten. I was rafting down a river when a Yellow Jacket came, landed on my bright pink waterproof phone pouch, and started drinking from the water droplets that had gathered there.
The most amazing part is how the water droplet magnifies the Hornet's mouth parts, so you get to see them up-close!!!! It was FASCINATING to witness!

What Comes Next for the CJP?
The CJP established its list of demands on May 16. In addition to calling for Pradhan’s resignation, the CJP asked for compensation of 10 million rupees ($104,000) for each student who died by suicide following the leak.
They also sought greater legislative oversight of the educational system, gender equity in government roles, a fully independent media, and certain reforms to the electoral and political system—such as creating a 20-year ban on politicians switching parties before seeking election.
Adding to those mandates, the CJP last week asked that the central government drop any potential charges against protesters, after claiming that several had been “illegally detained” by police.
Following Pradhan’s resignation, representatives from the CJP met with officials from the Indian government to discuss the rest of the party’s demands. In a press conference following the meeting, Das said on Saturday that the negotiations had been successful.
"All our demands have been accepted,” he said, without elaboration. “We request the protesters to withdraw immediately and return home peacefully."
The CJP added during the press conference on Saturday that representatives from the movement would meet with officials again in four weeks to work on broader reforms. Its spokesperson told local media that the fight for a transparent educational system is far from over.
He said that members of the CJP conveyed to officials that if the issues are not addressed, the protesters will reconvene “and demand accountability.”

There are multiple references to Doctor Who and Star Trek and a character probably named after someone from Battlestar Galactica of all things and 2.
