But I know that throughout this time apart, we’ve grown as people.

But I know you’re still that happy and smiley boy you were before

Though it may not be for me, its probably for the right reasons.

I may not have been the best boyfriend, and I get that now. I get that I wasn’t good for you and I had too many issues.

But I’m working on them. Because just like you. I’m growing as a person too

I’m maturing,

I’m happier and can manage my emotions

I’m finally about to start testosterone just like we always used to talk about.

I’m a step closer to myself and my happiness

I remember when you said one day I’d grow a better beard than you, and that’s even hard to do.

I’ve been dumb

But its all apart of growing

I also hate to admit it, but I’m more like you as I’ve grown.

I act like you,

dress like you,

laugh at the same things you do.

I’m more and more like you, because to feel better, I need something of you to fill that gap

And it’s been a while. But I’ve finally let go.

It took me more than a year, but I’ve finally let you go.

Though I’ve let you go.

I still carry you with me.

Though I look away from you in the hallways

I still know you’re there.

I hope some day I can be your friend again.

I often come to think, have you grown to be like me too?

I see you dressing more relaxed now. You’re not always prim and proper.

Only occasionally.

I think sometimes you’ve still got a part of me with you.

I like to think that because its such a sweet sentiment.

I like to think we share each other but I can’t express these words out loud, I still feel sad when I read about you

But I know we’ve grown as people.

Uhhh, so saw a psychologist. I explained I constantly heard a piano song, and I was told they were auditory hallucinations :/

As well as I was told that I have minor paranoia caused by trauma. It kinda explains some things.

This is where my brain spirals

It can't keep up with anything

this one song is gonna drive me mad,

but it's tune is so sweet,

and soft to the touch,

although it weighs heavy on my chest

and forces me to have feelings,

that arent even mine,

a want for something ive never experienced

i have a want to go and never return

to meet others

to break out of the same routine

that is constant

i have the want to invent something new

make a discovery

live a life of extravagancies

play a piano in a large room fitted with a fur carpet

drink expensive liquor on a balcony

enjoy life,

a fulfilling life.

but due to these recent occurrences

I cannot sleep.

due to these feelings

feelings of nostalgia

of remembrance

of memories that aren't mine

nostalgia that isn't mine

nostalgia that i myself havent experienced

nostalgia that doesn't belong in my brain,

i cant sleep,

im tired.

this tune replaying in my head

at a consistant rate

it never ends,

a tune played beautifully

an intricate string of notes played all in perfect timing

just in time to make a masterpiece

known everywhere

just not by name

or artist

but this song will constantly be remembered in time

to send me through emotions that arent in my possession

through memories

thoughts i never planned to have

i never thought id have the feelings to want something that isnt mine

an experience

it all makes me want to go back and fix my mistakes

or just go back
