Cursed Storybrooke--The Dragon's Nest--Tag Amuletbounddragon
The Spoiled Siren had finally gone under—they’d cheated Gold on their rent one too many times.
That of course left Rose in a bit of a pickle. She’d propositioned too many customers at the Rabbit Hole to ever be looked at for a possible hire, no respectable business in town would touch her though she’d asked at all of them…so that brought her here to the Dragon’s Nest.
She hadn’t wanted to come crawling the only strip club in town but some things outweighed her dignity and that was a need for money. Besides her boss wasn’t asking her to dance…yet.
Still she was a gorgeous woman unfortunately and knew that it wouldn’t be much longer until such a offer was made and, if the pay was right, she knew that she’d take it.
The club wasn’t open yet tonight…she was helping set up while they did sound checks for the music and the dancers made sure the stage would work for them.
Pulling some chairs off of the table she made an effort to avoid the eyes of her boss or anyone on stage…she didn’t want any undue attention drawn to her tonight.
Kaida had the feeling she was going to be stuck being a dancer for the rest of her life, or at least for as long as she remained pretty. While it paid exceptionally well, after she paid for rent and food and other stuff that she needed, there was hardly any money left. By the time she managed to save up enough money for fours years of college, since there was no way she'd get a scholarship, she'd be in her forties. Still...it beat living on the streets. And the people here weren't so bad, either.
The blonde let out a small laugh as she set up the stage with the other girls, this was the first night in a while they were doing a theme and tonight it was superheroes, which just meant skin tight costumes that hide nothing, but it would be fun. "I'll be right back." She said, hopping off of the stage and nearly falling over in her heels, but she easily got back her balance. She was used to them.
Kaida went to head backstage, to get a drink of something and maybe start working on the pounds of makeup she had to wear, when she caught sight of Rose. She sighed lightly, heading over to the girl with what she hoped was a reassuring smile. She'd been in her position once, and if she was here then she needed the money and would cave about dancing in a while. Kaida did, hell, all of the girls here did. "Hey, you're the new girl, right?"
