Made some cute notes today đ
â¨6/15/2020, Week 13 of the 2020 Quarantine Challengeâ¨
â¨Monâ¨- Are you usually early or late?:
Not sure if this is asking if Iâm a night owl or an early riser or if I make it to class early or late so Iâll answer both!~
I used to have 8 AM classes when I was going to school in the spring so Iâd have to be an early riser and tbh, I absolutely a d o r e d waking up early because I loved rising with the sun and I always made it to class 20 early because I always feared about being late đ
â¨With most schools, colleges and unis closed around the globe and most studyblr students now having school at home I thought I would create a challenge to help everyone stay focused and productive and also to connect with people so even though most people are self-isolating, we donât feel lonelyâ¨

Some French work :)
4/100
I'm doing research for my thesis, I should be graduating this semester. Tbh I struggle with staying productive and I kinda developed the habit to stay in bed and watch dramas/ series or be on social media. I want to break that habit. So here we go again.
Goals:
- Writing my professor an E-Mail
- overview of my Bachelor's thesis
I know, the picture had to be taken afterwards.
Studying is so unnecessarily hated, so can just appreciate the sheer aesthetic of studying?
Waking up early and drinking green tea with textbooks on your lap as light spills in through the open windows. Laying out post-its and notebooks and coloured pens as you begin to write colour coordinated notes for each subject. Having textbooks and notebooks spread out all over your desk with your laptop in the center, as you make powerpoint presentations for each chapter. The feeling of scribbling down formulae that you pin up all over your walls, creating a colourful display of knowledge in your room. Having a binder filled to the brim with detailed diagrams with annotations and post-its all over them.
And if youâre chaotic and messy and disorganised? Thatâs equally aesthetic!
Having pinned your hair up in a messy bun as you sit on the floor, surrounded by open binders that have pages upon pages of notes spilling out of them. Sticking your pencil through that bun because you canât find your rubber band and then cursing two minutes later because where is my pencil it was right here. Piles of used coffee cups and plates from the hundreds of different snacks that have just piled up in your room. Messy diagrams sellotaped to the bookshelves because you canât find any of your notebooks. Random pieces of information scribbled on the cuff of your jeans because thereâs no more space on your arms and you canât find a spare bit of paper. That one page of notes that you made that was actually informative and organised before it trailed off into three pages of doodles.
Studying is aesthetic. And the aesthetic of studying is a fucking great motivator to start doing it.

â¨Week 10 - Languagesâ¨
Sun - What is the most important phrase in your native language that someone should know?
Iâve thought about this a lot. If I would know just one phrase in any language it would be âI donât understand the languageâ. Think about, with just that you can communicate that you canât communicate. So in Hindi you your say âऎŕĽŕ¤ चिŕ¤ŕ¤ŚŕĽ नचŕĽŕ¤ सऎŕ¤ŕ¤¤ŕ¤žâ (main hindee nahin samajhata), which directly translates to âI donât understand Hindiâ.
â¨Week 10 - Languagesâ¨
Sat - What is your favourite word? (in any language)
My favourite word in eneglish is âfundamentallyâ. It just has a funny sound to it, which I love so much :)
spring is here đ
currently soaking up the first daylight at my desk whilst enjoying a slice of homemade carrot cake. the window is open and i can hear the birds sing. thereâs a woodpecker too. things like this make times like these bearable. stay safe, stay inside X
â¨Week 10 - Languagesâ¨
Fri - What is your favourite idiom? (in any langauge)
One of my favourite idioms is this one because itâs reminds me to keep looking forward even when I make mistakes :)

Week 10 of My 2020 Quarantine Challenge!
â¨Â Fri ⨠What is your favourite idiom? (in any langauge)
iâm not actually sure if this technically counts as an idiom but its something that we say where i live: iâll be there now in a minute
it bascially means that youâll do something/come very soon but not immediately. when you actually think it through it mades NO SENSE but i genuinely say this and i didnât get it from TV or anything its just part of how i speak
if youâve ever watched gavin and stacy (if you havent you need to cause it is god tier), you might know this phrase cause they make fun of it đ
bought some new stationery today and filmed a haul
â¨Week 10 - Languagesâ¨
Thu - What do you think is the best sounding lanuage?
I think Iâm going to have to say Italian. It just flows so smoothly and just has such a relaxing vibe with it
03/24/20 ( March 24th 2020)
Early morning study session (10 am is early)
Very busy so of course I decided to procrastinate by making a latte and studying Herodotus and Plato

Week 10 of My 2020 Quarantine Challenge!
â¨Â Thu â¨Â What do you think is the best sounding language?
ok so this is probably going to be an unpopular opinion but i honestly think german sounds SO nice and is not at all the extremely harsh sounding language that is caricatured in english speaking countries/tv
also i think thai sounds really melodic đś and prettyÂ
some more german notes with more flowers from my gardenÂ
