Signs of abuse / toxic relationships:

Mocking your body but he is "just teasing"

Wanting you to constantly go down on him but refusing to return the favor, making you feel like you're disgusting (yeah, he‘d make a face when I asked for it)

Constantly claiming he helped you to get to where you are so you subconsciously believe you're nothing without him

Making sure he pays for everything in the beginning of the relationship so in the future he'll constantly remind you how everything you have as a couple belongs to him

Complaining about you being too hysterical / dramatic whenever you cry for feeling shit

Going away for long weekends, doing whatever the fuck he wants, "because he needs freedom from you" while you stay alone behind

Guilt tripping you for feeling: alone, jealous, depressed

Basically telling you you are terrible person, making you believe you are piece of shit

I can probably think of millions more situations in which he hurt me.

But it doesn’t matter anymore because I am out and I've been free for a year, loving myself, trying to forgive myself and loving everyone around me.

You are not worthless, you are amazing, you deserve love, you deserve overwhelming - fairytale - mind blowing love.

Don't mind me. I'm just going to add some signs that i learnt from my own abusive relationship.

Stopping you from seeing friends and family

Controlling what you eat (for me it was by forcibly taking food away from me)

Screaming at me in public

Trying to force you to have sex

Making you take your make up off

I could go on forever. It sucks that we've been through these situations but we're both out and we're stronger than ever.
