Little update

(I barely even go on here anymore, mostly just to look at updates from 2 blogs to see what they're up to. But it's better than Facebook for something like this.)

Seven-month relationship, just broke up. I...feel bad about how fine I feel? Maybe it's because I could see it coming and we're gonna be able to remain close friends--all things considered, pretty fortunate I think.

But I also feel bad because I'm already interested in someone else. Like I saw some flirting going on with another person and that made me feel worse than the breakup did.

I guess maybe I feel like I didn't really "lose" someone important because the friendship will still remain, so the loss is smaller. I have to be honest with myself though and recognize that, even if I'm crushing hard on somebody else right now, if I tried to jump into something I'd just hit the same issues that came up in my previous relationship. (Assuming this crush is even a mutual thing lol, I always assume that my crushes would be into me too, talk about optimism.)

And I'll be seeing them both on a semi-regular basis 😕

Anyway life's pretty good otherwise. Got a job that's a big step up from my current one, so yay. Not much else to say. Probably post again in like 4 months.
