Containing two different kinds of sundial, a nocturnal and two lunar volvelles to tell time at night, a world map, ten pages engraved with astronomical and astrological tables, seven blank pages and a magnetic compass.
Thirteen leaves hinged together in book form. Astrological tables on five leaves. Four blank leaves. Horizontal dial with hinged gnomon for latitude 54° on seventh leaf. Lunar volvelles and equatorial dials on eighth leaf. Nocturnal on tenth leaf. Labeled in Latin and English.
