any advice on how to ask a commissioner for an update? it’s so nerve wrecking ..

Someone you've commissioned? Well, I dont really have any specific advice - just go for it! Personally, I never mind at all! After all, the client is fully in their right to ask for an update whenever. Don't let yourself get swept up in nerves - it's a business transaction in the end, and most artists really don't mind so long as it's not constant or right after the commission was ordered :-P

You've been a bit of an inspiration lately !!

omg hahaha you don't need to apologize! it's not entitled, I'm just thankful and appreciative you feel so compelled by my stories ^^ I really want to rewrite their profiles one day, maybe, eventually, possibly. no promises, I'm terrible at commitment, but the idea is floating around in my head

warmups. little story I've been brainstorming recently about a young, successful, brilliant popstar who voluntarily goes missing, changes "her" identity, and transitions as "she" always wanted to, crafting his new identity as an unassuming, practical, quiet young man

ok, I'm SOOO excited for zombie stage. based on the new comic, it would seem that the "canon" universe is an arts school they're all attending, and each alien stage plot is a movie they're watching, we just have it told from the POV of it being about them/an AU. and from what I can tell so far, it seems that each one is about the entertainment arts industry in some way? like, AS is about idol culture and the exploitation and dehumanization of idols, and it seems like zombie stage may be about child exploitation in the entertainment industry? I can imagine this setup might not be too popular among some people, but I honestly love it and think it's such a smart way to explore all the different AUs... especially with how them all being arts students ties back to the themes of AS/ZS... so exciting
