Intro Post

Hey! So umm I’ve already technically made one of these but that was made when I first made this account so… it’s not the best. Anyway, hi! I’m @anaglyph2007 (call me “Glyph” for short). Here’s just some basic stuff abt me!

- I’m non binary and go by they/them pronouns!

- I’m a writer/ actor from… a place. On Earth. Yep

- I’m autistic

- I’ll never use AI in any of my posts or in anything I make in the future. It’s a fucking leech that’ll just keep swallowing and regurgitating other ppl’s stuff and there’s no way in hell I’ll support that. So don’t expect any AI stuff from me

Anyway, now that basic introductions are out of the way, here’s everything you’ll expect to see from this account (or other projects that I’m doing)!

- Photography

I tend to do a lot of abstract photography, taking pictures of anything I see from my environment and editing them in such a way that they become nearly completely unrecognisable. I will sometimes take other people’s photos and edit them to be unique, but it’ll never be without credit to the original source. If I ever edit one of your photos and you’re unhappy with it, just DM me and I’ll take it down

- Poetry

Kinda a recent thing I’ve been taking part in, but yeah! I’ve been making poetry as of late. I never make poetry without meaning, sooooo yeah! (Sometimes I even include poetry in my photography posts, so have fun with that)

- Art

Definitely the thing you’ll see me do the least of, but I do like to make digital art every now and again. Don’t expect it too much (I’m only a beginner and I have other stuff going on in my life too), but just know that it is something I’ll do every now and again

“Wembley”

pride over watching

their team kick a ball

team’s net. I will

admit to not

being a fan

of football (or

of any sport

whatsoever),

but even I

can see the large

impact, and the

community

that can be born,

from seeing your

local team play at

Wembley, let alone

winning at Wembley.

That achievement is

gargantuanly

important. While I’ll

admit that, to me,

football smells of Lynx

body spray, and red

and white jockstraps that

probably smell

of spunk and shit,

and more of that

Lynx body spray,

and too much more

Lynx body spray

that choke me as

much as the crowd

members’ chants of

“Up the Dale, lads!”

or “We’re going

up!” (too loud; too

vocal for me), I

can still perceive through

my square-eyed pupils

the order within

that loud chaos. Most

prefer to go

to the football;

support Whatmuff,

and Rodney, and

Jack the Kit Man

(who would’ve stayed

hidden by those

other loser

teams). I find my

comfort in the

pixels on my

screen; I’m more than

happy missing those

joyful, playful chants

to help B2J’s

Mayday and Zuke fight

against NSR’s

reign. I’d rather read

Zampanò’s debut

novel about Will

Navidson’s House of

Leaves, or admire how

Ash can accept

how different

he is, and how

he can use his

differences

to win back his

father’s tail. I

couldn’t do that;

succeed in such

a task that’s so

influential;

so much so that

already-drunk

men go out to

the Empire, or

“Yates-ies”, or “The

League o’Doom”, or

The Flying Horse

in prideful bliss

(bliss? Mudita!)

as they increase

their tipsiness

pint by pint. That

must’ve been fun,

celebrating so

brashly; I prefer

to celebrate with

Charli’s brattish club

classics, played in pure

isolation,

or by writing

poems when I

feel creative

enough to care.

Some say I should

not celebrate

this sport at all,

as it’s built on

misogyny

and outdated

foundations and

semi-transphobic

ideals. But that’s

not the fault of the

people, or the fans,

but the game. The game’s

the thing wherein I’ll

catch the conscience of

the King (and his sons;

the Koopalings, who’re

more masculine than

I’ll ever be).

You won’t see me

in the photo

I epigraphed

above; I can’t

be there, with the

people in the

pubs, because they’ll

turn rowdy in

a harmful way,

supporting their

team too much, by

mocking the vegan

team wearing that pink

predatory print,

or invading the

pitch to turn hostile

on Boreham Wood,

ensuring them

a free kick. No.

I’ll instead be

found making my

acrylic drip

paintings in my

private quarters,

whilst watching that

cartoon about

the horse-man who

eulogises

his mother, but

he went to the

wrong funeral

venue. But let’s

not discuss death

right now; it’s not

necessary.

Rochdale isn’t

dead, although we’re

lucky it’s still

here. I feel a

great feeling of

anemoia through

this perfect photo,

which (at a distance)

might look like a drunk

riot, a glass flung

(perpetually

suspended within

the air of static

photography) and

flares lit, normally

demanding change;

revolution.

Now, they’re used for

celebrations.

Beautiful, is

it not? I may

unbiased in every aspect (apart from when

This is what it’s like to lose it.

You start panicking,

chest heaving as

you breathe shallow

breaths; nothing of

note fills your lungs.

You lose balance,

slamming down into

your bathroom door

(or “floor”, as your

mother proclaims,

as if she has

idea of what’s

going through your

head; “he’s acting

This is what it’s like to lose it.

Oh, definitely console. While I can see why people prefer PC, I think that console is definitely better simply because it’s made for gaming. PC’s are made for typing, emailing, web searching and making documents, not gaming

The only exceptions in which I think PC is better is in typing games or FPS games with really simple controls; Y’know. Games made for PC

i’m gonna hold your hand with a glove on when i say this

when disabled/chronically ill people tell you they can’t do something, then that is not your cue to tell them that they can actually or that they’ll always find an excuse if they’re looking for one.

when a disabled/chronically ill person says they can’t do something, sometimes that doesn’t mean it’s outside the realm of possibility, sometimes it means if they (attempted to) do that, they will seriously hurt themselves.

when a disabled/chronically ill person says they can’t do something, sometimes it’s preventative care, and they refuse to do that thing to prevent a flare up from happening/their symptoms getting worse in the first place.

disabled/chronically ill people are not “looking for excuses”, they are giving you reasons why. something they don’t even have to do! so maybe just accept the reasons they give you.
