Ci sono anime che hanno addosso un'incrinatura segreta, una frattura sospesa che sfugge anche a chi la porta dentro. Quella linea sottile può restare invisibile per lungo tempo, animando l'illusione dell'intero come fa la crepa nel cuore di un piatto scheggiato. Quando quella frattura cede è sempre causa di un niente: basta un grado in meno nell'aria a provocare la contrazione della materia e metterne a nudo la ferita. Altre volte a far cessare il patto silenzioso delle molecole è un tocco lieve, uno sfiorare il bordo dorato del piatto senza altra intenzione che la carezza. Allora la finzione dell'integrità cade all'improvviso e rivela l'anima in cocci, irreversibile. Bisogna essere molto attenti per riconoscere nei gesti altrui il suono sordo della ceramica scheggiata.
