I didn't have anything specific in mind when I created this blog, other than I wanted to save Sims 4 things and maybe create my own screenshot story based on the generations challenge. I'm sure it will change as time goes on.

Enthusiastic trait testing

I took out the continuous loot because it wasn't working and added in another occasional event with a shorter buff time with only a +1 weight. It is finally not giving me an error code so I can actually test the trait now.

Custom career testing

The pro wrestling career is going well. Leveling up isn't challenging at all at first so maybe I will up that. I didn't realize it would still give a bonus with promotion but it does. I need to add more icons and pictures so that it looks normal instead of empty but I've only been through one promotion rank so far. We will see how the reat goes.

Enthusiastic trait testing

I retooled the trait and now the continuous loot has the same testing conditions as the occasional loot that I know works. Time to test the trait and see if it works.

Enthusiastic trait testing

Had to remove the trait for the second time. This time it was because the continuous loot I added had the wrong testing process and it was causing my MCCC mod to log exceptions and errors. I will retool the continuous loot and try again.

Yes! Quinn woke up energized and with this buff! It worked! She must have gotten it while asleep though cause it is supposed to last for 4 hours...

New test so far

I redid Enthusiastic completely. Now it doesn't have a permenant energized moodlet. It seems to be very subtle as I've increased how quickly friendship is gained with Enthusiastic. But I'm afraid I triggered the loot to an energized moodlet so without the active trait or any energizing decor, I might not see my buffs.

I gave my sim both the outgoing and enthusiastic traits and social needs decay faster that way since both traits are set to decay social need.

CC trait restart

I deleted the traits and I’m going to restart them. I can’t seem to get the core buff hidden without a permenant mood. I am going to keep playing with this mod constructer until I can get it right!

I fixed my Enthusiastic trait so that it shows up as a moodlet that lasts for 4 hours and there is also an occasional event that boosts energized by +2 that I still need to test for. I'm going to test it with the Professional Wrestling Career I made with Neia's career builder.

I wish I knew how to share these.

It worked! I had to restart Origin and re export the package but the Enthusastic trait works and this test sim is permenantly +1 energized. I'm thinking maybe I should make that a random loot though...

Well after that failure at creating traits that work, I guess I'll just stick to making rabbit-hole careers that do nothing 😂 I suck at this.

Custom traits

Well...the trustworthy trait (and the new one I made Enthusiastic) show up. But everytime I try to modify my sim and give them that trait, the game gets stuck in the loading screen....damnit. I will probably just have to use them on new sims going forward. I'll make a new game and test them out.

Edit: creating a brand new sim and giving them those traits still seems to leave me stuck in the loading screen. I thought I might have been in the clear because it let me choose a world but it never successfully loaded it. This sucks.

Making Custom Content

The only thing I am able to do is use mod tools, but so far I have made a rabbit hole career for Professional Wrestling using Neia’s career builder and I’ve just been playing around with Zebru’s mod constructor and have made a Trustworthy trait that I am testing. (with any luck it increases romance and friendship quickly and also increases charisma skill quickly.)  I want to create more careers and traits! I wish I could make aspirations, cause that is what I need the most is new aspirations. The v3 of Zebru’s constructor doesn’t do aspirations though. I’m going to try and do it with v2 but I don’t think it’s supported in game anymore.

Maybe one day I’ll be smart enough to mod on my own LOL Until then I’ll just be jealous of the rest of you.

I am enjoying the way this story is progressing, especially with the new mods added on. My screen shots are slowly getting better too. 

Edit: I thought the captions were going to show up, but they only do if you click on the pictures. So I’ll just go back to putting the captions in the posts.

Cheat reminder - Modify Career Outfit.

sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas will take you to a basic editor where you can change clothes, but not base career clothes as they are not part of the game. Also can’t change hair or makeup. 

Edit: if you have the MCCC mod with full edit mode turned on and use this cheat, you can change hair and make up.

Kasandra + Kali + Dimitri Picture 1: Kali spots her dad (Cameron) and goes to have a talk. He’s still really sad.  Picture 2. Kasandra and Dimitri exercise together (he lives there now). He definitely looks like he is checking her out.  Picture 3: She is very intent on that bag. I assume she is imagining Cameron’s face.  Picture 4: Selfie with Dimitri and his new facial hair.  Picture 5: Dimitri takes Kasandra on a date before their wedding. The bar is full of ghosts...and Cameron (who was recently married to Marisa).  Picture 6: Cameron is care-free and partying while Kasandra and Dimitri kiss behind him.  Picture 7: Selfie on wedding day! Picture 8: Dimitri’s father and sister came to the wedding! Picture 9: such a cute picture but I wish I would have gotten it with the wall up  Picture 10: They do! Look at Dimitri’s father and sister hugging as they kiss! 

I forgot to mention this before but after the divorce, Kasandra changed her name back to Wolff. She also changed Kali’s last name to Wolff as well. Kasandra’s last name is now Altman but Kali is keeping Wolff.

Kasandra + Kali Picture 1: Roxanne was possessing the computer and then she rose up out of the floor and seemingly glared straight at Cameron like she knew what he’d done. Picture 2: Kali is a child! Picture 3: I didn’t get a screenshot of the incident, but Cameron straight up kissed Marisa in front of Kasandra without a care in the world at Kali’s child party. Kasandra held it together until the end of the party and Kali went to bed and then she divorced Cameron. They were both heartbroken. Cameron moved in with Marisa.  Picture 4: Kasandra is an adult!  Picture 5: Cameron and Marisa both had nerve enough to show up to Kasandra’s party and Kasandra had a fight with Cameron. Both are still completely devastated.  Picture 6: Kali finds kids around the neighborhood to talk to. I can’t remember their names at the moment but their last name is Yeung.  Picture 7: Kasandra meets Lilah’s brother Dimitri (same age, just didn’t know him before) Picture 8: A couple days later in Kasandra’s house, she asks Dimitri to be her boyfriend while Kali is at school. Thanks to adding the MCCC mod around this time, Cameron and Marisa got married and Kasandra is ready to move on. Picture 9: SURPRISE PROPOSAL! Thanks to this mod, everything can be automated, from woohooing to proposals. Dimitri isn’t even moved in yet, but he immediatly got down on his knee and popped the question. He doesn’t even know Kali that well yet, so that is going to be a journey.  Picture 10. Lilah was visiting at this time and this was very awkward for her. I’m sure her best friend and her brother was not what she wanted LOL

Kasandra’s Young Adult Years pt 3 + Kali 

Picture 1: I’m so glad when I can catch moments like this where Kasandra is giving a fantastic side-eye and Marisa looks like she’s explaining something. Picture 2: Kali is a Toddler!  Picture 3: Kasandra’s second work outfit! (Also Marisa came over to visit before she went to work) Picture 4: Kali and Marisa play dolls together. Picture 5: Cameron helps Kali learn shapes.  Picture 6: Attraction interactions popped up on the main wheel when Cameron talked to Marisa. So I let them go with it. Who am I to stand in the way of the story?  Picture 7: They were just flirting and I like how Cameron looks coy. This is either his adult party or Kali’s child party. Lilah looks like she knows and isn’t going to make eye contact.  Picture 8: Cameron and Marisa flirting. Picture 9: Cameron gives Marisa a rose. Picture 10: The Affair.
