be the person you could be if you weren’t afraid
Sometimes you fail, and sometimes it is embarrassing and painful and hard and difficult. But it does not mean that you cannot succeed again and triumph in beautiful, wonderful ways. Just because it did not work out this time doesn’t mean it won’t work out later - sometimes in ways you never could have even imagined. Working towards your dreams is still worth it. I promise.
ACCEPT & CHANGE
i love this quote soooo much. it shows that you are still perfect while you are getting better :))
You are drowning yourself by overthinking everything. The next time you find yourself overthinking or beating yourself over something, picture something simple and put no thought into it. Look at the trees moving in the wind or take a moment to look at how beautiful this world is. This world is too beautiful for you to waste your time in unecessary thoughts that are just drowning you.

You are not wrong for walking away from something or someone that emotionally drains you.
Take note.

What to do When you get a Bad Grade
1. Don’t mope around and keep beating yourself up. That will only distract you from your studying, and stop you from doing your best in other subjects.
2. Remember a bad grade is only a bad grade. It doesn’t mean you’re worthless or have failed as a person.
3. Try and find a way to let your feelings out through some kind of physical activity. For example, through running, jogging, or going to the gym.
4. Aim to do better on the next test you have. There will still be other tests where you can get a higher mark. Maybe see it as a wake-up call, and change your study habits.
5. Try and figure out why you received the bad grade. Do you need to study more, or to learn some new techniques? Did you not fully understand the course material? Did you just have a bad day, or were you tired or feeling sick?
6. Get extra help from your teachers if you need it. Most of them are happy to answer students’ questions.
7. Be determined to keep going and to persevere. It’s easier to do well with a good attitude.
What to bring on the first day of class?
You’re going to need to bring your certificate of registration. Lecturers don’t check that but just in case they do, bring it with you.
School I.D
A pen. No explanation needed.
A notebook. Now, this may shock you(or not) but some subjects actually start their lecture on the first day on the FIRST WEEK. Doctors don’t give orientations too long and they don’t dismiss you early as well. You also have to take note of the grading system to track your grades during the term (they expect you to listen and to know how they compute and handle your grades)
Bring your ipad/iphone/voice recorder. If you’re like me who depends finds it effective, use it. Only a few lecturers don’t allow it but most do. It’ll help you a lot! Also, make sure you have downloaded the files/ebooks and have it saved in your gadgets!
Gum/candy. To keep you awake and to freshen your breath!
Class schedule. Have it printed in a small size that fits your ID or make it your phone wallpaper.
ALWAYS bring a jacket/cardigan. Some rooms can get very cold.
Lastly, bring the DOCTOR IN YOU. You have to be 100% ready -- or even half a percent (because we all know the struggle in waking up and getting up on the first day of school), just bring yourself. There’s no escaping it. It’s the first day and this is your dream. Work it. You will be fine! :)
