@anaxanthas
i feel like there is a sleep in me that needs to be slept but each time i sleep i don't sleep that sleep
For many many hours and some free wood you found, you too can build a giant raised bed/retaining wall
Update on the garden! Gonna get some stuff planted soon hopefully!
Summer update! Things are growing!
So… is “gay people finding each other and new appreciation for life through food” a genre?
Because I like it.
YOU🫵'RE 🫵 NE->XT.!! moTHERFUCKER!!!!
GET LOVED!!!!!!!!!!
late summer / early fall thoughts
I wish irl grinding was as fun as in videogames tbh. Like yeah i need to go to work a thousand times but after that i have enough materials to buy a house. But alas, houses arent real
literally every problem i've had in my adult life has been solved by open and honest communication. which is fucking stupid, first of all
like i can't even just a little bit solve my problems with wanton violence? for real??
i'm like a caricature in a children's show. "and then Whimsy took a deep breath, made a few polite phonecalls, and everything resolved itself 🥰" fucking hell man when do i get to punch someone hard as fuck in the jaw
Okay I have lived with this ambiguity long enough.
THIS EMOJI:
Is it:
I am high fiving you over text
I am praying in a vaguely secular way for whatever you said to come true
I have my hands folded in front of me like I'm about to white person namaste
Some wildly unlikely other option
it is so assfuck hot but at least i'm not in tokyo rn
Saw the latest episode of Game Changer with my sister last night, and all I can say is that this is the perfect premise for a YA dystopia.
@englishmagic in the tag mentioned a hypothetical version of count the rice with only the rice and i was also curious about what the vibe would be so here it is. disclaimer i did cut some onstage stuff just so 60% of the video wasn't just the first half of the episode mostly unchanged but. for the most part. here's a normal episode about counting rice normally
btw i added a few new cross stitch patterns to my shop!~ check them out on my shop: 8pxl
Even in a post-capitalist, post-consumerist world, you still need to produce goods, as a result of this, you need factories because it is more effective to have a few people making a lot of clothes in a factory than every woman being forced to sit down and spin wool all day.
The issue with factories is poor wages, unsafe working conditions and environmental impact, all of which can be fixed through things like regulatory bodies and unions, the issue is not the fact that goods are no longer all made at home
you can have a guild-owned, guild-run, sustainable and ethical small- to mid-size clothing factory. or laundromat. or kitchen. all of these once-domestic tasks can become industrialized without the capitalism and greed.
the factory isn't evil. it's a building full of machines and materials.
It sends me that when Cheth resurrected Phaedra and her friends they both understood it as including the dog. Splitting a soul four ways might’ve been better to save the world but you know what’s more important? Katja.
she was very polite and well-mannered during her challenge and he couldn’t say no
I started inking my grape sketch. Actually, that’s a lie; I’d already inked it and started painting it (2nd image), and I absolutely hated what I was making, so I started over. I’d tried to be lazy and save time by reusing the same leaf over and over. It just looked stiff, awkward, and bad. I hated the style I was painting in.
Now that I’ve started over, I’m liking it a lot more!
not even joking this is great art advice. it can feel frustrating in the moment but starting over can sometimes result in the best work you’ve ever made
tho personally instead of deleting my art i prefer to duplicate the file to keep a version of what i didn’t like just in case i end up liking it later
