Andrea was the child her parents always wanted. Her birth was no mistake, or accident. The condom didn’t break and she wasn’t conceived during a night of alcohol fueled passion. Andrea was what her parents needed in order to feel complete, it was what the Moore family desperately craved and because of that not only was her birth planned but it was viewed as the best gift the Moore family had ever been given.
Born into a middle class family in Port Angeles, Andrea was a spoiled child, she always got whatever she asked within reason and while others like her grew to be spoiled little brats, she instead grew up humble and grateful for the many things her loving parents were able to provide her with, she was able to elude becoming one of those many spoiled rotten little kids many of the others in her neighborhood turned to be like because she wasn’t much like them at all. The other children enjoyed hanging out with each other, showing off the numerous things in the possession while having little pissing matches while she just liked to work on her father’s car with him. She didn’t care much for showing off, nor did she care for what others had. Her interest laid in her being able to mess with the engine of her father’s car.
Andrea was young when her cousin Holly came to live with her family and though she didn’t understood why the change occurred, she welcomed her cousin with open arms and the two became fast friends even though they were both vastly different. As time progressed and the two only grew closer, she stopped seeing Holly less like her cousin and more like her sister and despite the two running in two separate groups and having separate interests, they stuck together despite everything. Holly though fascinated with science respected Andrea’s loved for cars and it was the same for Andrea. She found science dull but she loved her cousin and she respected her love for the subject. They made it work.
When the Moore parents eventually grew tired of living in America and expressed interest in making a move to Paris, the two girls not wishing to leave decided to find their own apartment, preferably one that was close to the hospital that Holly had recently started to work at upon graduating and the garage Andi had recently gotten a job at. As the two settled into a life with just each other, Andi over the course of time came to understand just why her cousin had come to live with her and her parents so many years ago. Because of her knowledge in the situation, she was able to understand the struggles her cousin went though when she had to watch her birth mother come into the hospital time and time again sporting numerous different injuries and unexplained pregnancies. Though she wished she could do something to ease her cousin’s pain, she also knew that sending the wayward aunt back to L.A was not an option.
When the virus started, the hospital served as a sort of quarantine area at first till the zombies reawakened and turned the place into a battleground. As a result, the military came in shooting anyone and everyone including Holly’s mother. The two girls having been sticking close during that time due to their love and worry for each other were quick to escape the battleground and make their way out the city. They hit the road together and traveled around till the broadcast of a certain safe haven being built brought them to Ravenswood.
Andi is as far from a quiet reserved lady as you can get. She’s sweet, don’t get that wrong but though she’s sweet she has a bit of a rough edge to her. She knows how to handle herself and knows how to take care of herself and her cousin, although she’s often been the reason behind them being in trouble over the years. Her snap decisions and impulsive moods coupled with her anger problem when things either don’t go her way or if things aren’t right has often led the two girls astray. Often found pacing back and forth to calm herself or grinding her teeth when pacing isn’t an option, Andi though angry is a respectable person. She’s never had to beg borrow or steal and she doesn’t even want to think about doing it in these times. When it comes down to it, there are really but two things the girl cares about. The first being her cousin Holly that she’ll go to the ends of the earth to protect and the second being machinery. Working on cars, and dissembling and reassembling engines and the likes not only calms her down immensely but also allows her to center herself and think more clearly. The mechanic in her is always excited about anything that has an engine and she throws herself into her work to hide the pain and anxiety she feels from the absence of her parent’s and being unaware of whether they are alive or not in this new world.
Holly Moore - Holly is Andi’s rock. The two tend to clash often as Andi is very headstrong woman has a very impulsive nature compared but despite that the two of them need each other to survive so they try to not allow anything to ever come between them. Since the outbreak, Andi has noticed Holly come out of her shell a lot more. Maybe it has to do with their lives constantly being in danger so it’s better to enjoy what life still has to offer but whatever the reason her cousin has found for being more open, Andi isn’t complaining. She’s actually encouraging it. Taking her cousin ‘round the town and introducing the woman to others she has come to know. Andi needs Holly in her life and with that need, she also wants cousin to be happy so she’ll do whatever she needs to in order to make that possible.
Joseph Garcia - There’s a lot of things Andi could call Joseph and most of them would be insults but it’s really just safe to say that she’s not fond of the male. He’s a slacker. He’s a whiz with a car and she admires his skills but his personality leaves little to be desired and cause of that, she’d much rather not actually have to share space with the male. Keeping as much distance as she can from the man as her doing anything else not only hinders her work but results in her wanting to knock the teeth from his mouth, Andi can hardly tolerates him.
