ACTIVITY : this blog is low activity and now my only active blog , i am neurodivergent and also am diagnosed with two disorders that can make both communication ooc and writing difficult at times. because of this my activity might fluctuate meaning some days i might be able to write quite a bit , others i might only be able to reblog pictures / character study posts etc or i might not even be on the dash at all.

she wondered if the words were meant for ophelia, or for helaena herself. she knew the woman had been by the window, she always seemed to be looking skyward, finding unseen answers in the stars. ophelia found herself often looking to the lights for some hope, but she knew whatever the other saw was more real than anything she could imagine.

“we will stick together then. give each other courage. we will make sure neither of us are afraid then.”

she sat down her tray of tea before moving towards her. “let’s get you ready for bed, milady. perhaps sleep will soothe you this evening. i brought some tea, or i can draw a bath for you if you’d like.” anything to help her relax and ease some of her worries.

SHE WORRIES MOST FOR JAEHAERA. with aemon gone & aegon having deserted his throne , it leaves them open for the inevetible. alicent plots. helaena knows her mother well enough to know that their situation is about to change. SHE THINKS SHE WOULDN'T MIND NOT BEING QUEEN , but she has no wish to be a prisoner , either.

" you have always been a friend to me." would she still be , if rhaenyra were to arrive? so few could be trusted but helaena had found herself growing fond of ophelia. of her kindness. of how gentle she was with jaehaera too. THE QUEEN RESISTS PLACING A HAND ON HER BELLY , even from ophelia she hides this truth. careful. she had lost her first son - an impossible choice.

"a bath. please." perhaps it would allow her to think , to figure out the flashes of vision - to think of the path forward. "i would like you to stay. it is not safe to be alone." for either of them.

it should have been enough. talking about the almost plane crash. ilya was safe. ilya was alive - but his hands won't stop shaking & sleep evades shane. IT'S NOT UNUSUAL. he tends to over think , his mind runs a mile a minute and closing his eyes doesn't work. that was how he'd ended up in his gym. A SMALL ROOM , but efficent. it doesn't help like it used to however. no , the sense of control he'd felt when managing his diet , his excercise , it didn't help. not when he's thinking about the batch of cookies downstairs in the kitchen.

it's the sound of heavy footsteps that snaps him out of his thoughts - that has shane turning off the treadmill , stepping off it. "ilya?" who else would it be? SWALLOWING HARSHLY , he moves towards the door ; the almost crash still present in the front of his mind. he needs to see ilya again to be sure he was okay. it's stupid because he knows he is. they'd had dinner together. it doesn't stop the panic though. the loss of control.

he probably shouldn't have asked sal to come over ( he's well aware he's risking the guys license to practice ) - but he didn't trust anyone else to stitch him up ; and given that he'd been shot in the back of his shoulder : HE COULDN'T DEAL WITH THIS ALONE. as tweezers dig in the wound , searching for the offending intrusion , the mi5 agent winces.

"sorry about this. i couldn't just walk into the E.R , not without raising questions that i can't legally answer." & if he'd gone to the military hospital , word would have gotten back to his father.

" your boss is a bit of an arsehole." aaron was probably bias , he'd never been a fan of inter agency co-operation ; USUALLY BECAUE EACH AGENCY WAS LEAVING SOMETHING OUT. it was hard to work together when you weren't allowed to be fully honest.

"what did you find out?" they'd been on this stakeout for days , watching what seemed to be an empty building. he had a bad feeling about this. WHAT IF THEY'D BEEN GIVEN BOGUS INFORMATION? he shifts in the plastic chair , watching the cctv from the corner of the room. it wasn't the most comfortable place he'd ever stayed , but it was cheap and the landlord was turning a blind eye to why they were really there.

"normally i hate inter agency co-operation but - you might be changing my mind." he manages a weak smile as he climbs to his feet. glancing around at the bodies ( most unconscious ) , his gaze then finds paloma's. "that was some shot -i should probably say thank you." FOR A MOMENT HE HAD THOUGHT THIS WAS THE END. it wouldn't have been surprising. this was the life they had both chosen , after all.

" right so , the situations fucked. no back up & i'm pretty sure we just blew our cover. seems we're going to have to improvise." A BOND SPECIALITY.

entering m's office - aaron feels a sense of dread. HE DOESN'T DEAL WITH SIX VERY OFTEN ( if he can help it - he's spent years forging his own identity away from his father ; not that his career was much different ). he knows what he expects. another declaration of death ( & not knowing if this time , it was permanent ). his father was good at playing dead ; but there was going to come a day when it wasn't about lying low.

sitting down , he steadies himself. IF THIS WAS WHAT IT WAS ; he'd deal with it , just like he had before. the mi5 agent meets m's gaze. despite the fact she wasn't his boss , there was a certain level of respect for all she had given this country.

Managed to get my meds so I may try to write tonight ( tomorrow I’ll be focusing on commissions ) as I have emotions

Thinking about how when Aaron was twenty nine, a hit was put out on him ( spectre related ) & his wife , Sarah and their daughter Tali were killed ( their house was set alight ). This has driven Aaron in the sense that it was around this time he started to harden. He started to struggle with trusting anyone. Mi5 gave Aaron a way to fight back and help dismantle this organisation. The murder of his wife and daughter however caused a big divide between himself and James because he held him responsible as Aaron had only been a target because he was a way to his father ( who at the time he thought was his brother ).
