this week i had the opportunity to see BTS, a group i’ve loved for 7 years, live in concert in las vegas. it was a surreal experience, but it was so so healing and wonderful and honestly just FUN. i really love this latest ‘arirang’ album, each songs sound and vibe calls to me, and especially the lyrics. i just graduated with a bachelor’s degree and i’m job hunting and spending time with friends and becoming really scared but also really hopeful about what’s to come. it’s been perfect timing to have BTS back with me this last few months. merry go round’s lyrics have stuck out to me, and into the sun.

i’m just really grateful to be in this time period of life surrounded by the people i never knew i needed but also knew i wanted, ever since i was in middle school. it means a lot to me to still have BTS with me after these years, and their comfort and music. they feel like the most parasocial relationship i’ll ever have, lmao. i’m happy to live where i do right now, and excited to see where i can go next.

i’m getting almost to that point that i dreamed of when i was 13, when i was sick of the same thing happening every day with the end years and years down the line. i don’t feel like that anymore. i love my life even when it can be hard. i still have days and weeks that feel like i’m stuck, but it passes. it’ll return again, but i feel more equipped and more forgiving to myself. music and poetry like this album also help me get through the hard days, and help me appreciate the good life i’m lucky enough to live.

i’m still finding myself, and that’s okay. the process is the point.

Hashimoto Okiie ( 1899- 1993) was a Japanese woodcut artist. After working as a teacher and spare-time artist, he devoted himself completely to the artistic activity and became well known only after the publication of Oliver Statler’s Modern Japanese Prints (1960).

He specialized in prints depicting Japanese castles and gardens, as the 1946 series “Ten Views of Ancient Castles”.

Re reading the original hunger games is so funny bcus katniss can literally read haymitch's mind like what. I'm dying of thirst but haymitch hasn't sent me water, that must mean that there's some nearby!! And one kiss is one pot of broth!! Like she even acknowledges that it's strange when she's like oh to peeta this would just be a pot of broth. Haymitch will give her one look and katniss knows immediately what he means and she's right every time

Meanwhile peeta is like your dress really suits you and you look nice :) and katniss is like he's trying to kill me
