The past few months have been really challenging for me. Jared, I, and Kyla moved to Tucson and started a new life here. While he started grad school, I started to work, and waiting to start school in January, I had a lot of free time that I thought I could use to get back into my art. Unfortunately since we moved I haven't had any input or inspiration in order to push me back into my artwork. One day, few weeks ago I was thinking to start volunteering at a local animal shelter, and while I was there I fell in love with a little white baby fur ball. Today is officially one month since Lily has became part of our family and I couldn't be happier. The beginning was pretty tragic and rough, but one way or another it magically worked out. Today I also got back into photography after 5 months. Well, some of you might already know but I wanted to make it official: I moved to Tucson, Arizona at the beginning of August. Jared just started his Master Degree in Dance at the University of Arizona 🐻⬇️and I'll be starting Digital Photography at Arizona State University next semester 😈. @kweeenkyla is happier than ever, chasing lizards and all the new creatures of the desert. 🌵 The past few months have been the worst: having to say goodbye to a lot of friends, forgetting things I used to use, and places I used to go, leaving two jobs etc. The house is still full of boxes, the new bed yet needs to get delivered , and a lot of furniture is missing BUT I've never been so happy before. I've absolutely loved living for the past years in California, but Arizona gave something that I was looking for a very long time: mental peace. My mental health improved SO MUCH since we've moved, my job is closer to where I live, the amount of stress drastically decreased, and I had the impression that people in this town are more focused on connections and genuine mutual interests. I am just very happy and I thought I could share some of my happiness with you all with the hope of bringing you some of it too. 🌵❤️ (at Tucson, Arizona)

I want to start saying that, because we dressed like ketchup&mustard, I thought I'd be funny to make a squishy face. Unfortunately I didn't work out pretty well for me. I wanted to take a moment to appreciate my work-wife, Caitlin. Sadly, I still don't know how to properly spell her last name. Caitlin and I started to work together in September when I got a job as a school counselor at @merryhillmidtown and it's always been a pleasure planning, creating, and educate students with her.
