I watched Aquaman today and man, DC was really worried about making sure people didn't think of Jason Momoa's Aquaman as a scrawny guy in a leotard

Darhkatom + Zarlie The Good Place AU

Eleanor Darhk isn’t a bad person. But she’s not exactly a good person either. When she dies, she is sent to The Good Place by accident. She doesn’t fit here, but she really doesn’t want to go to The Bad Place, so she asks her soulmate Ray Palmer, an ethics professor, to teach her how to become a better person so that she can stay rightfully. Ray is the kindest person she’s ever met, and it’s almost infuriating how much he genuinely wants to help her. Nora and Ray’s neighbors are Zari Tomaz and Amaya Jiwe, who are also soulmates. Zari had a rough childhood, constantly being compared to her brother, but it pushed her to do good throughout her life. Raising millions of dollars for charity is what got her into The Good Place. Amaya was a spiritual leader in her tribe in Zambezi, which earned her a spot here. The problem is, Nora being in The Good Place isn’t the only mistake. Amaya confides in Nora that she is actually Charlie, a failed pre-successful DJ from Jacksonville, Florida. Day after day, bad things happen, and Nora and Charlie know that it’s their fault that everything is off balance. Finally, they can’t take it anymore. Charlie is about to expose herself as a fraud, but Nora won’t let that happen. So at the next neighborhood meeting, she stands up and announces to everyone that there’s been a mistake and that she isn’t supposed to be here.

I had a few friends over at my parents house to watch a movie today, was two butch lesbian girls and two nb folks who go by masculine pronouns (we have no gender neutral pronouns in portuguese, unfortunately) and don't wear binders.

After they left, my mom asked me to explain how to treat my nb friends cause she was a bit confused, and my dad said "yeah I wasn't sure either so I just said 'Hi everyone!' instead of 'Hi girls!' ou 'Hi guys!'"

Cute af and it may or may not have reminded me of that one episode of One Day at a Time XD

Shoutout to my 90 year old grandma with dementia (she thinks she’s back when she was 20) and she misunderstood us when we said her nursing home cook didn’t make food for OTHER people and she thought we said “colored people” and she got so mad she was ready to steal food so she could feed everyone. Keep in mind she thinks she’s in like 1940s and she is READY to defend poc. Shout out to you grandma.
