People forget that littles are more than just 0-12 ages. Littles generically refers to adult babies, littles, middles AND teens; they're 0-17. How can one regress back to the age they are now? Is that saying that adults in the community now are now invalid because they don't regress back to an age that the underage littles feel is now "unsuitable" to be a biological age for themselves? How can you give someone "parental" type control over yourself when you still have a parent raising you?

So much this. A person's brain does not fully develop and/or mature until the age of 25. So yes little tendencies may exist prior to this age but does it a make the person a true little? In some instances, possibly. More likely though? It is that the 'little tendencies' are just the manifestations of child still growing up.

What I'm learning this week....

1. Never feel sorry for doing what you feel is right for YOU. Even if it's not what other people want for or from you.

2. When you hurt someone's feelings, they can lash out in a very aggressive and mean way. Be sympathetic to that, but also stick to your boundaries.

3. Those who are truly there for you, will be.

4. When you feel unsafe, step away. It's okay.

5. I never have to minimize my needs or feelings again. I have no reason to, and I shouldn't have in the past. It's not okay to invalidate yourself just to keep someone happy.

6. Keeping things to yourself until you reach a breaking point isn't the best way.

7. What it feels like to -really- be in love.

Stay away from doms that use attention depravation as a punishment. Stay away from doms who try to keep you in little space all the time. Stay away from doms that only care about you while you’re in little space. Stay away from doms that won’t let you leave. Stay away from doms that won’t let you safe word. Stay away from doms who believe an okay punishment is not allowed to safe word. Stay away from doms that push you to uncomfortable limits. Stay away from doms who won’t acknowledge or respect your limits. Stay away from doms who say you can only be little if you’re X, Y, or Z. Stay away from doms who don’t believe boys can be littles. Stay away from doms that are manipulative. Stay away from doms that make you do things you’re not okay with. Stay away from doms who hit you without consent.

Caregivers on a Budget

Every Caregiver wants to spoil their little one, but it’s not always easy when you don’t have too much money to spare. But thankfully, cute things are often cheap, and you can find plenty of things to gift to your littles at places like Dollar stores or Thrift Stores! Here’s a list of a few things that you can find that are all ten dollars or under that would bring a smile to even the most finicky little’s face!

Dollar Stores:

🎀 Coloring books! These are between $1-$3, and come with so many different characters designs! If your little doesn’t like coloring, or if they want something more challenging, Wordfind books, Crosswords, and Sudoko can also be found for the same price.

🎀 Other art supplies! Packs of crayons, gel pens, sharpies, and other neat things are usually around $2 or $3. You can also get notebooks, sketchbooks, posterboards, stickers, and more! For $10 you could even get enough stuff to throw an art night for your little and spend hours making things together.

🎀 Socks/Panties! I personally got a pair of Jake the Dog socks for a dollar and I love them to death. You can get things like fuzzy socks, or sets of multiple pairs of socks with cute designs. And the same goes for panties! You can get cotton panties in packs by the dozen, either with colors/patterns, or plain white ones that your little can decorate themselves.

🎀 Fingernail polish! I see bottles of cute glittery pastel polishes all the time for a dollar each! You might could even buy several bottles, and have your little pick their favorite one, and then paint their fingers/toes for them.

🎀 Big bags of candy! It may not always be name brand candies, but if you’re looking to buy lots of candy at once, you can usually find super big bags of goodies for $6-$8, enough to give any little a tummy ache.

🎀 Accessories! Collars can be really expensive, but I found a couple of bracelets in a dollar store for only $1 that were studded and long enough to fit around my neck, and they were excellent makeshift collars before I had the money to drop on something more expensive. (I can share pictures of them later!) You can also buy cute hair-bows and hair-clips and ribbons for cheap too.

🎀 Outdoor toys! For littles who like to play outside, you can buy big bouncy balls, Frisbees, waterguns, and more for only $1 or $2! And in summer seasons, pool toys are a good option too! Goggles and water-wings and big noodles to help you float.

Thrift Stores:

🎀 Stuffies! This is the absolute best place to get stuffies for little ones. If you’re worried they might be dirty, take a damp cloth with very light soap on it and gently wipe over the fur until it looks nice and clean. Generally thrift store stuffies are better made and nicer than the ones you can find in Dollar stores for the same price or cheaper. I bought a torchic plush for 50 cents from my local thrift shop and he stays on my bed every night!

🎀 Clothes! Winter is coming up, and I don’t know a single little out there that doesn’t enjoy a nice oversized sweater. Depending on the thrift store, sweaters cost between $1-$5. Some thrift stores also have amazing sales where you can purchase entire bags of clothes for around $5!!

🎀 Toys! Many thrift stores have sections full of donated dolls and action figures and things like that. They may be missing accessories or not be a full set, but a doll that would cost $20 in store can be purchased for only $2 or $3.

This is all I can think of for right now, but please feel free to add things if you know of anything else! Caregivers should all have the opportunity to spoil their little ones, no matter what sort of budget they have to work with.

6 things that don't make you a bad Dom(me)

Tumblr often shows two sides: fake Dom(me)s and perfect Dom(me)s. The reality is much more nuanced and that perfection is a fallacy. During my early days, I wish someone had told me that and had assured me that the following six things didn’t make me a bad dominant.

1. Having limits It may be obviously, but Dom(me)s’ limits, be they soft, hard or fleeting, are as important and valid as those of a sub. You don’t have to be into everything.

2. Needing practice Some people say you’re born as a Dom(me) or a sub. I don’t necessarily agree with this, but what is undeniable is you’re not born with the full dominant skills set. It’s okay to need time to learn how to give commands, tie a rope, swing a flogger, or even control your own stamina. Learning is part of the joy and it’s okay to be a student in dominance until you die; it’s much better that than being ignorant about your skills set (or lack there of).

3. Requiring equal effort A lot of “bad Dom(me)s” are lazy as all hell, barking commands and then not following through. But there are a lot of equally “bad subs” who don’t put an ounce of effort into the dynamic and are simply looking for someone to tie them up and provide orgasms. If you’re putting your all into a lifestyle, you have the right to expect equal commitment.

4. Not always being “on” We all have libidos that come and go. There’s a sense that a Dom(me) is good to go at any time of the day. It is completely normal to sometimes not feel like sex or not feel particularly dominant.

5. Having a drop Subs often drop after a scene, but so too can Dom(me)s. Dropping is completely normal and it’s okay to need your own kind of aftercare.

6. Not being a Dom(me) Great Dom(me)s aren’t always dominant. Many are switched, having the marvellous gift of enjoying both sides of a power dynamic. Enjoying submission makes you no less of a gifted and devoted dominant.

What it really means to be a Daddy

It means never going to bed before your baby girl so she can always fall asleep knowing youve either tucked her in safe or are holding her close.

It means calming excited jumbled minds and knowing what she is trying to say, even jf she doesnt fully even know

It means helping your little feel safe to be little. Providing them a place to express who they truly are without fear of being judged. This means cherishing everything little and never finding it annoying. Help her do things that shes to little to handle. Take as many adult responsibilities as you can away. Its called little space for a reason, and it should always be a safe, happy place.

It means knowing when to punish and knowing when to snuggle. Not every time your little acts up is she in need of punishment. Sometimes you have to be able to know what your little needs. Snuggles, attention, and words of encouragement can be just as effective.

While on the topic of punishments, you have to know the right punishments to hand out and when. All little girls love spankings, but theres a time and place where more effective punishments might be necessary if your little is acting up, and they do not need to always be sexual in nature.

Being a Daddy ultimately means cherishing, caring for, loving, protecting, worshiping your little who has chosen you to be all those things for her. The littles give the Daddies the power to be Daddies and in return they ask for your care and love. Provide it always and cherish every moment. They are fragile, they are beautiful, and they are worth every moment.
