I’m wonderful, but I’ve missed my favorite girl. I feel like we never see each other anymore!
Sorry, I kind of made the studio my second home. But seriously, what's been up with you? How's work and all that?

Angel! How is my greatest, bestest friend in the entire world?
I'm god, I'm doing great! How are you?

Don’t worry about me. How are you?
I'm alright.
...
[Frowns] It’s not your fault.
...How are you?
...
[Wraps his arms around her] I’ve been so worried.
[Stiffens and pulls away, nodding] I'm sorry about that.
...
...Hi.
...
[Grabs her by the hair] That’s not very nice.
[Grits her teeth and punches him in the jaw] Neither was that, was it?
[Kicks her] Wake up, princess.
Go away.
“Oh, you know, huh? Now…,” his words trailed slowly. “Would you mind sharing that little secret of yours?” Xavier quirked an eyebrow. He hadn’t quite pinpointed what Angel was but it was more than obvious that she wasn’t human. Her scent gave away that much. “And please let’s skip over the part where you deny knowing what I’m talking about,” he shook his head and laughed. Pausing for a moment, he mulled over her suggestion. He deemed it a good one. There would be no point in attracting any attention. Certainly, her disappearance would not go unnoticed and he’d like to avoid any interaction with another wolf tonight. “Fine,” he conceded. Keeping a firm grip on her arm, he dragged her out of the party, past unsuspecting party guests. More and more, isolation became an attainable goal.
Angel looked around the dark room that she had been held for what felt like months. In all honesty, she had lost track of the days after the first week and they slowly seemed to be getting longer and longer. And with each passing day, it became much harder for her to hide the secret that she was so sure that he wanted. He had mentioned it the first night they met, but he, like everyone else, wasn't sure what it was that set her apart. And she wasn't too keen on letting him see the only secret that she had left. To say that he had bruised her would have been an understatement and even at the fast rate that he body healed, it struggled to do so when he came to deliver blows at any time he saw fit. Hearing the sound of the door opening, Angel sat herself up and tried not to wince or give in to the tingling sensation in her back where her wings rested.
“I’m afraid that I can’t let you go quite yet,” Xavier wore a wicked grin. Despite how calm Angel tried to appear, he could smell the fear from her. “You’re awfully pretty and,” Xavier paused for a moment and leaned in close to her, taking in the rest of her scent. “You smell incredibly delicious,” he growled a bit, nose dragging across her cheek for a moment. “The name’s Xavier Jones, by the way. I suspect you’ve heard a lot about me,” he laughed dryly.
Cringing slightly from his touch and the closeness of their skin, Angel looked away from him. "I haven't, actually. And there's no reason for you to tell me, I know that I smell good." Her father had always warned her when she was younger that other supernatural beings would form a queue in hopes of getting close to and possibly killing her if they found out what she was. She knew that her smell was enough to attract a wolf, she learned that from all of Eli's family. But they were kind and tame, Xavier on the other hand, he was not. And she could feel the familiar itch in her back indicating that her wings were threatening to expand, a defense mechanism that was being triggered by her semi-panicked state. "Fine," she hissed, looking around. "Whatever you're planning to do, let's do it away from here."
Xavier couldn’t and wouldn’t allow the opportunity to have a little fun escape him. There was no better way to have fun then to show up uninvited to a party and luckily, the party also had just the people he was looking for. In any event, any person would have sufficed as Xavier was simply out for blood. It was his favorite sport. He’d spotted Eli and his girlfriend, Angel, earlier in the night but he was biding his time just right. He’d been patient enough and now he wanted his fun. Xavier grabbed a hold of an almost unsuspecting Angel. Pulling her from the crowd, no one seemed to notice as they were all too busy mingling, dancing, drinking, and just having an all around good time. “We haven’t met, have we?” He grinned, fangs protruding.
Angel could feel herself wanting to scream, but she couldn't, not with the hand over her mouth. However, when she was pulled away from the crowd and finally brought face to face with the man that had grabbed her. Leaning away from him, she tried to not feel nervous and to keep her breathing steady. But at the sight of his fangs and the red in his eyes, she felt her breath hitch in the back of her throat. And not in the way Eli usually did, this time, it was from fear. "No, we haven't, but I'd prefer if we kept it that way." Trying to snatch herself free from his grip, she gritted her teeth and clenched her jaw.
Midnight City
Her words relaxed him. But only slightly. Eli knew that he’d make the utmost effort to have a good time tonight but he also would refuse to let his guard down for even a second. “It’ll be fine,” he echoed her words before realizing his claws had been out; he quickly retracted them. “I’m not being broody,” Eli argued though he did manage to get an eyeful of Angel now that she was sans jacket. Her pouting face was also enough to get him to crack a smile. “I don’t need you to get my brother,” he rolled his eyes but managed a laugh. She was right though. There was no point in letting the night go completely to waste. “Hm, will you get off my case if I…dance?” He raised an eyebrow, doing his best to suppress a smile.
Angel's eyes widened in mild shock and surprise at his suggestion. "You dance?" She stifled a laugh and shook her head, her ponytail bouncing in the process. "You don't have to, babe. But it's a cute thought." Leaning up on her toes, she kissed him, her arms wrapping around his neck. She smiled up at him, but that smile quickly faded when she saw the same wolf from outside, however, this time he was making his way towards them, in a much quicker pace than before. She looked towards Eli, but saw that he had turned to talk to someone else. Opening her mouth to call out his name, she felt a hand clasp around it and pull her into the claustrophobic crowd of people.
