The entire green/Hightower side is so tragic and misguided in their self-righteousness. To have Otto force his daughter in a child marriage under the guise of making her happy as Queen. For that cycle to continue with Alicent, forcing Aegon to be King when he all he wanted was to be loved by his parents. Criston brutally murdering loyal and respected nobles to maintain his honor, when he was willing to leave it behind for Rhaenyra all those years ago. Their entire side usurping Rhaenyra not for the realm, not for the people, not for even Viserys, but for this sense of duty and ego that none of them even wanted. What a tragedy.
