Staying late meant peace and quiet in an environment that actually seemed productive for him, and he could at least edit some photos or make some calls before returning home to do more of the same. It was about time for another coffee, and just as he was getting ready to leave the office, Angel turned in to the doorway. Raising his eyebrows in surprise, he shook his head. âNo, not at all. Ever since she was a little girl, Angelique spent hours locked in the library reading whatever, and now after graduating, she still, fortunately, hadnât shake of the habit. â I usually stay a couple more hours, canât seem to stop working once I start.â
