one final note on all this
i was going to personally message those that are involved because there are those that are responding to the previous post that a) i didnât tag anyone at all b) didnât ask for a response and was venting my frustrations out about said person that shall not be named that has had a past of bullying on A03 and decided to expose herself on her after she comment not just on here about me promoting my future work but also on A03 when I discovered the connection. I tried to be..nice in my reply and explained why I decided to add the google form link to my fics on A03 to get it out there so more people across platforms would be able to vote for the fic that I would be working on to be an inspired fic based off one of my fics.
Because thatâs what Iâve always wanted to do and I got excited about this whole process about a week or two back when I found from another fic writer that was doing the same thing the binding company that is inexpensive.
And through the responses from that I there was a threat of âdigging deeperâ which is 1) creepy and 2) kind of a threat so unless people arenât reading the responses that are above them and just wanting to pop off. Like you should read otherâs responses above you.
And also, kinda of off topic to be mentioning supernatural as if i would just up and replace band members names with supernatural characters? Which I donât understand where that even came from.
But I digress, because I just wanted to have my followers from the multiple platforms that I HAD published my work to before it was stolen to know about my future project and to vote so I wouldnât get putting my cash down on copies of books that there wasnât a consensus on what my followers wanted.
And thinking about all this just prove that my point of going to patreon and stepping back and away from other platforms after the stealing event on wattpad seemed to be the right move. Since the everyone that was so up and happy to vote on fics around march when i was doing daily updates on here. But never gave feedback, commented, reblogged on my works. And then went up in arms when I made the decision to go to patreon where a paywall would make the stealing event less likely to happen again.
And truth be told I am still only really on here for the newer people that have come to follow in the past months that I talk with and share other peopleâs work with to get it out there. And my OG followers @lapinkpig and my beta-reader @rainbowmusictime are literally the only reason why I even check tumblr at this point and still stay on this crap site thatâs been going downhill for years, not with just the site but also the people that I thought were friends and supporters and outted themselves as not being so much of that at all really.Â
Unless you know they were still getting their daily posts of fics right?
Which begs the questionâŚhow many of you would be making a purchase in august?
So if those of you that replied to the previous post want to pipe up go ahead. Because Iâm kinda done with this which was the reasoning for the previous post to vent my frustration and be done with it all.

to my grammar error stalker that not only had the balls to comment early today about me promoting something I was excited about doing (and have wanted to do for years). And finally finding an inexpensive way to do so. Not only left a bitchy reply to me just trying to get the google form out there for people to be able to vote on. NOT just on here but also on my A03. which not only was the same exact comment word for word. Which quickly made me realize exactly who you were from a couple years back.Â
Not for just commenting that.
Taking the excitement that I had for it.
But also make me question everything I had been working on for years since being on this platform.
GOOD JOB on taking the excitement of something and turn it negative.Â
Which I realize that you probably donât care what your comments do, since I never saw anything from your side on either platform that has been positive except for coming through and leaving negative comments. Instead of, oh, I donât know just keep on scrolling.Â

Because Iâm trying to get the word out about me turning a fic of mine into an original work of fiction that is inspired by one of my fics, since thereâs really no other way for me to do it.
AND iâm letting my readers help and pick the fic since I have so many and I didnât want to have something produced that wasnât in an overall consensus from followers on MULTIPLE platforms in what they would want to see (which even included some patron exclusives as well).Â
But good on you. You did what you set out to do. Right? Or just left those comments not even with a care and going about your day.
When iâve seen other fic writers promote their fanfic turn original fiction and I get excited for them. And see only positivity. When frankly all Iâve been getting is negativity after someone decided it was ok to copy/paste my work and claim it as their own on wattpad. And as a result Iâve gone away from alot of the platforms and stuck to only one to continue sharing my work, due the anxiety I would feel on other platforms going to check the notifications.
Good job! you did exactly what you set out to do. Make me feel like shit for trying to promote my work.
Big Warning
If you see a police car or a cop with a speaker looking thing on it, FUCKING RUN. It's known as an LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device), a device that, when activated, can permanently damage your hearing and cause serious harm. If you're too close, you'll be left in a lot of pain and squirming on the ground permanently deaf. Ear plugs do not work. Unless you have one of those shooting range headphones, you do not stand a chance against them. Again, if you see them pull up, RUN. This is what they look like.
Stay safe.
Because these sonic devices are highly precise if you're behind it you'll hear absolutely nothing. The devices in the pictures if I'm not mistaken are the LRAD 500X (left) and LRAD 100X (right).
These devices are not safe, and can effectively cause pain and permanent damage even when not being intentionally used in that manner. And believe me, they are being intentionally used in that manner.
The LRAD 500X has a sound projection variable between 15°-30°. It has a sound pressure level of 143 decibels at 1 meter.
LRAD 100X is fixed at 30°. It has an SPL of 137 decibels at 1 meter.
I don't know the effective near fields of either of these devices but the LRAD 100X has a much smaller reach than the LRAD 500X. Both are likely to be nearly unbearably loud inside the projection angle up to 200 meters.
An important thing to understand here is sound is not measured on a linear scale, it's measured on a logarithmic one. A sound that's 100 decibels is a sound 10 billion times more powerful than a sound that's 10 decibels.
Even outside of the "immediate hearing damage" range it's entirely possible to experience nausea and pain. Get as far away from these as possible, ideally not just straight-away distance but out of the angle of projection, which is relatively small.
Also try and get your local government to take this shit away from the police.

Yes, of course I do.
Do I understand why fanartists and fanfic authors are privatizing their work and/or putting their content behind paywalls?
Yes, I do. To the best of my knowledge, based on everything Iâve been told and read over the past year and a half: content creators are sick of getting radio silence when they create and share work; they are tired of rampant art theft and unauthorized reposting; they are tired of being constantly harassed to update despite not being offered meaningful feedback; and in worst case scenarios - they do it to avoid abusive anon hate.
How is understanding the sole right of creators to do what they want with their work product being a Karen?
As for paying for our entire fandomâs worth of patreon access: I donât have the capacity to do that, nor should I have to even if I did.
Itâs true that I am an older millenial who is no longer a struggling student. Â
And to be perfectly honest: if every single author whoâs ongoing story I am currently following put all future updates behind a Patreon and offered subscriptions starting at $1 - $3 USD per month?
I could do it... Â
But so many other people I know could NOT. Â
And thatâs another part of the reason why this issue of appreciating our creators is so important to me.
Because frankly, we canât blame them for leaving. Â
Given the current state of feedback culture in our fandom, we just canât. I personally think itâs a minor miracle that any of them are bothering to stay active at all.
Again, if they all put everything behind a paywall: chances are I could still afford to access and enjoy content from my favorite creators. Â
But I donât want that to be the case. Because I know thatâs not true for the majority of people in our community.
Thatâs another critical reason why Iâm trying so goddamn hard to bring this issue to the forefront at every opportunity, anon.
Because if creators feel valued and appreciated = they wonât leave.
If they donât leave = we can all continue to enjoy content without having to pay money for access.

Tips That Can Save Your Kidâs Life.
THIS IS IMPORTANTÂ
When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didnât want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phrase âpeanut butter cups.â (Iâm happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now).Â
I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didnât want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didnât know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I asked âHey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?â And she said âIâll be right there.â And she came and got me within minutes.Â
Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didnât seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldnât worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only âwomanâ around that wasnât related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked âNext time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? Iâve been craving them.â And she came and got me, just like that.Â
Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Donât discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.Â

Off topic, but very important! I was taught to yell âthis is not my mom/dad.â A young kid freaking out in public is likely to be ignored out of embarrassment, but a kid telling you right out that they donât know who is messing with them? That will turn heads.

I feel like this should be said too if you see a child yelling things like âthis isnât my mum, or I donât know youâ or something donât ignore them! This system relies on people actually helping the child! It dosent matter how rude youâll seem or how anxious you are you could be saving a childâs life!
Even if you just ask the child âDo you know this personâ if the adult buttâs in make sure to ASK THE CHILD! Even a shy kid will tell you they donât know this person or just met them or something!
