Alright people. Whoever the jury is, remember #Blacklivesmatter and that means
Charge this motherfucker. Max.
People are so childish 🙄
Yes, he should do time, but not 22 yrs.
Why pray someone's life away like that because you're the victim's fan?
You know he shot her right?? If this was just a random black man shooting a random black woman me saying he deserves 22 years in jail makes sense because he SHOT her!
I understand the situation and he definitely deserves to do time.
He's in his 20s. Serving 22 yrs because of a stupid decision or lack of impulse control in your 20s is overkill.
I understand he did something wrong and should be charged and all that. However, overreacting during an argument is pretty age appropriate for someone in their 20s. Should he have gone to that extreme? No. He deserves jail time.
However, we can't get time back. You're wishing away 22 yrs of a person's life. If he was white they probably wouldn't even have mentioned what the maximum time he could serve would be.
He's wrong, but he's still a human being.
Justice can be served and he can learn his lesson without going to the extreme, here.
“Serving 22 years is overkill”
Not when you try to kill a woman it isn’t.
“He's in his 20s. Serving 22 yrs because of a stupid decision or lack of impulse control in your 20s is overkill.”
Im sorry but if you lack the impulse control to stop yourself from LITERALLY KILLING A PERSON you deserve to be locked up
1. He is a MULTIPLE time offender in 2 different countries
2. Assault with a deadly weapon/attempted murder is not... an "impulse control" issue.
Pedophiles get less. I don't think he tried to actually kill her. I mean he shot her in the foot. He definitely does deserve jail time & intense therapy and anger management. But 22 years really is a bit much. Pedophiles get way less & get out early for good behavior. It's crazy how callous people can be to taking away half someones life. & I'm not even a Tory Lanez fan. 💁♀️But das just moi.
The solution is pedophiles should get more time not tory get less.
The American Prison system is one of the most flawed in the entire planet. In my country, max time is 25 years and thats still A LOT. Please understand prison is meant to reform, NOT punish! Its literally modern day slavery and a system that fuels on peoples most visceral vengeful purposes, not one of a civilized society, especially when you consider how racist the white elite (most judges included) is.
The “lock them up for life because they dont belong in society” chant is medieval bullshit. I know yall have a lot of psychopaths and a lot of crime but maybe thats more a sign that the system isnt working than anything else. Who is your system rehabilitating? Can people get good opportunities after they leave or are they bound to a life of poverty and, therefore, gang violence and crime? Are marginalized communities not the most vulnerable to your fucked up system? You need prison reform NOW. Wake the fuck up.
She was nearly killed you dumbfuck. All that other shit you said is irrelevant.
HE PURPOSELY CARRIED A GUN AND ATTEMPTED TO KILL SOMEONE!!!!
The only people defending him are like minded individuals who want to freely commit crimes without consequences… point blank
Not to be that person but what happened to the prison abolishment side of y'all? Or did that just go out of the window?
To be that person, you should probably stick to cartoons. It’s more your speed.
Funny how yall are quiet about abolishing prisons when the police officer of the month needs to be put away…
Tory and any other dirty ass human being like him can rot in prison as far as I am concern.
There’s a great deal of hypocrisy surrounding how violence towards black women is handled vs. violence towards black men. This thread illustrates that.
Y’all really capping for this nigga? Put him UNDER the jail.
1. Like, I get the “prison reform” thing, but this ain’t no broke ass niggas from around the corner. He has money. He ain’t in “poverty”: nowhere close to it. Nigga is a millionaire. If I was a millionaire, I GUARANTEE that, if I got angry, I would find a better way to handle that anger. This ain’t one of those “he’s poor and has no choice”: the millions that he has now will be waiting for him when he gets out. And the way that we treat rich people, it’ll most likely increase in that time.
B. This nigga shot somebody. Not slapped them. Not slashed their tires. Not cussed them out, threw a drink in their face. He SHOT someone. I know a lot of niggas who have gotten upset in their 20s, sometimes irrationally so, and yet, every one of them have been able to express their anger in ways that didn’t involve shooting someone. Trying to kill someone. Like, what the hell?
Prison reform is nice, but it’s nice for people who are still in the point where they can be rehabilitated. Yes, there are people in poverty who commit crime because of the system. MANY of them are in jail/prison for nonviolent offenses. Prison reform for drug-related, non-violent offenses, HELL YES. Prison reform for niggas who get mad and decide to shoot somebody? FOH.
Put them right next to the cops who can’t keep their guns holstered long enough to figure out if their lives are actually in danger, or they’re just overreacting. Because in no way, shape, or form, should you SHOOT someone just because you’re angry.
Prison reform has zero business being discussed on this thread.
AT. ALL
Quit attempting to derail cause yall hate Black Women.

Reminder that puffins are extremely social and like to fit in with their friends, so they will adopt mannerisms and interests of the group. So there is a good chance this little guy is trying to be friends with the photographer by showing his interest in the camera.
TIL photographers are a lot like puffins, cuz we also make friends by showing interest in your camera XD
Reminds me of the time researchers were trying to get puffins to land in a specific area so the put decoys up to draw them in but the decoys only had 1 leg and
this is so fucking cute
thats why its so important not to do uncool crimes or smoke cigarettes at the beach
