As I am sure i've mentioned in the past, this luxuriously lounging little lady is very expensive to care for lately
This is Java Nebula, my brother's cat who we have had since December. In March, she started having issues with nausea where she would throw up so much she couldn't keep food down at all for days at a time. We did practically every test under the sun trying to figure out what's wrong, giving her anti-nausea meds until she could eat again, but the issue kept coming back every couple of weeks.
As of now, she is on a restricted elimination diet, only eating certain flavors of wet food made specifically for sensitive stomachs.
It's been almost 3 weeks since she last threw up!! Which is incredible, so we want to keep her on this diet, slowly adding to it as we go, so we can figure out what (if anything) she is allergic to or intolerant of.
The only issue is that feeding her this way costs approximately $300/month.
That's... a lot of money for us.
Mom recently said we couldn't keep paying it forever. But we need to keep her on this food at least until we figure out what the problem is, and we don't know how long that might take. We've been trying to find an answer for over three months. We've narrowed it down a lot but there's still a ways to go.
So what I'm getting at is: I have a Ko-Fi!
