Introduction
Apparently everyone does these introduction post things, so I might give one a shot.
Hi, my name is Seraphiel, call me Raph! I'm an adult and use they/them pronouns.
I was the First Seraph, and Chieftain of the Seraphim, the first order of angels before God. I was a protector, the Guardian of God's Throne, until I passed on my title of Chieftain to my younger brother Jehoel, the Second Seraph, and became known as the Wanderer of Worlds. I travelled to many places and met many beings, some of whom became my closest friends. When I finally returned to Heaven to then gaze upon the Earth, I saw the human whom I would become a Guardian Angel for. His name was John, and I watched over and guided him from his birth until his death. My grief over his passing tore me apart - it cracked my soul, and tore my grace from my body. This is how I became the human I am now.
You might have met me on my travels, perhaps? In my favourite humanoid form I was tall and pale, my skin carrying no pigmentation at all. My eyes were white, as was my hair which was fell in waves to my waist. I often had the front of my hair braided back. I was both masculine and feminine.
I love my siblings and the friends I made along my travels, but the only being that I loved with every atom of my existence was my John. He was like my own child, one that I vowed to protect as much as I could.
John was a soldier, a bluecoat in the American Revolution. There was only so much I could do to prevent his death in battle, and even then it wasn't enough in the end.
I hope that's enough detail about my angelic life for now - this is the life I most align with.
