i’ve read so much tradcath bullshit the last two years. i can confidently say tradcath men fit into one of two categories:

i really think collective euphoria is such a powerful force when it comes to cult brainwashing. the experience of being in a beautiful place with the unanimous joy of live music can easily convince you you’re experiencing something holy. i’ve been in a major spiral about some cult memories as of late and i ended up finding some recordings of their original hymns on youtube, and i was like, yeah, this is designed to make you feel heroic, courageous, part of something. people aren’t stupid for joining cults; a lot of the time they’re chasing that high.

After taking the test, most thought they nailed it. Zero out of 152 did better than 5 out of 12. None nailed it

Astrologers who rated themselves highly experienced (“world class experts”) did the same or worse as those who said they have limited experience. Both performed the same as random chance
