miles wasn’t the best influence, but he knew how seriously angel felt about staying on track when it came to dieting, though a lot of the time he flat-out disagreed with what his friend chose to put himself through. “at least just have fruit or something, if you’re not gonna eat. tea’s not gonna keep you from accidentally starving yourself.” he would’ve scolded him, but he knew anything he said wasn’t going to change whatever it was angel wanted to do. “ugh, i’ve not eaten nachos since i got here, and that’s long enough for me. i still think we should pack up and go to l.a. for the weekend or something. this place is suffocating.”

angel waved a hand dismissively, ignoring his friend’s advice the way he did every time the conversation came around; angel wasn’t the easiest person to steer in the right direction, and he didn’t feel the need to be. he lit up at miles’ suggestion though, having longed for a familiar city and the limelight for weeks on end already. “god, yes, we should. do you know how much i miss los angeles, miles?” the food. the languages. the people. the women. the media.”

“more like water and disappointment.” fighting back a grin, miles poked at his own food, noting how it looked much more appetising than cucumbers. all this talk of them did make him feel a little bad, knowing he was purposefully neglecting following his nutritionist’s advice, like he always did. “nachos are fucking good wherever you have them, man, i’m not bothered. though i gotta say, pizza hut do them real well in england.” if he wasn’t mostly full, his stomach would have grumbled at the thought. “so? go to l.a. buy some food there. what’s stoppin’ you?” true - miles figured angel could just fly over for a few days, maybe a week. they’d both done that before, so why was this time different? “whoa, back up. you didn’t try me, that’s weird. you just finally decided to accept you always loved me and looked up to me and, as we both know, i don’t disappoint my fans. hence why i still hang out with you.”

angel rolled his eyes choosing instead to let it go. too much talk of food killed the appetite he had finally worked into, and he stabbed the fries with his fork, pushing it away from him. "i'm not the biggest fan, i'm gonna be honest. like it's something i enjoy but... dude, i haven't eaten nachos in like three years. i try to follow the diets. if they're too horrible i just skip the eating part and drink those nutrition teas. -- listen, you know what sounds good right now? a fuckton of boston maki rolls. the ones with the avocado and the crab salad rolled up in 'em. god, dude, i cannot wait until i can eat fish again."
