A question for trans people: What was the MAIN or MOST INFLUENTIAL thing that initiated your realization that you were trans?

Bodily dysphoria with physical features

Social dysphoria w/ the way you were/are treated or your expected agab "role"

Dysphoria with the clothing/style you were encouraged by society to wear

Euphoria when presenting in a GNC way (ex: enjoying makeup/wearing suits)

Euphoria when being called a new pronoun online (being they/themed on tumblr)

Unexpected euphoria when trying drag/cosplay/a costume/etc. for fun

A realization that "gender is meaningless, so why play into it" or similar

Friend/someone else you know is trans and you realized you felt similarly

Nothing you can remember, KNOWN you were trans since you were VERY young

How do you decide which pronouns to use when referring to someone when you don't yet know their pronouns?

I use she, he, or they based on how ppl look: "fem", "masc" or "androgynous"

Same as above, but typically only defaulting to she or he

I don't use ANY pronouns until told otherwise (using name only)

I default to they/them until told otherwise

Same as #1, but I don't go by looks, I go by Gender Vibes

I default to they/them unless the person gives me Cis Vibes

Other, or a combo of the above (specify in tags)
