While I'm curious as to the blocking on other platforms - as I thought we had a fairly civil discussion, even if we disagreed - I also understand I'm not owed an explanation.
Hi it's me, while I'm not entitled to a need to respond and actively ignore this, I like to address some issues.
1.this has nothing to do with the conversation we had, I just found some of your posts to be not my type.
2. I also understand that while you think Doug isn't a predator he still did something wrong, regardless of how you think, I do believe he deserves the black listing
3. I don't think it's fair to assume what Courtney or others have said are made up, while there is a chance, many of them do need help, as there is no way it's normal to have an intimate "friendship" with an actor bc of status. It doesn't sit right with me especially if you keep up with this news to know that Courtney received dms from victims themselves.
4. While Doug (according to what you have sourced) did decline the marriage if the parents didn't consented, he shouldve reported them to CPS instead, the fact he didn't thought of how the parents were creeps is beyond me, esp when he's an actor.
The debate we had was civil but it rubs me the wrong way on the points you used. I'm not framing this as you thinking Doug is a saint, but saying he "doesn't give you abuser" vibes is a BS rebuttal. Neglect/enabling is still abuse and from what we see that's what Doug did, he ignored the fact that Courtneys mom and dad are bad parents.
It's like a moral situation where you see your friend or someone who likes you being bullied, and just let it happen, bc that's basically what Doug did. I really find it hard to sympathize with a scumbag like him.
