A reference point for my animation, through the theme of red riding hood. If I had had more time to do my animation I would of loved to have used the style of this animation, as it feels somewhat similar to my own drawing style. Along with how it provides a dark atmosphere to the animation.
Further reference points for my animation, a possible character design came from the first image, along with a background reference point for the tavern and then a victorian house.
Reference points for my animation, with the general character design coming from the first image. The second image was used as a reference point for the tree design, with only the general aesthetic taken from it and altered into the design of my animation.
My favourite prop in the Lord of the Rings, the Phial of Galadriel, containing the light of Eärendil.
Due to a recent need to watch all the Hobbit/LotR films, I’ve been looking at examples of gifs/animations that relate to them. I like the simplicity of the animation within the this gif. Combined with the style of this drawing, that has a calming feel to it.

Since I haven’t had much art to upload in the last few days, an animation I worked on today OO:
It’s Bluestar saying “I trusted you, Fireheart.”

I really like the abstracted colours, that are exaggerated and limited. Along with the strong contrast, that creates a good sense of depth.

An example of weather animation, through stop motion. It caught my eye due to the theme, as it correlates with the time of the year.
Test animation for my first character in my self directed University animation project.
Animated sketch of @alphamina
No idea why but the way that this animation flows means that I can’t stop watching it. Especially due to the eye roll with the eye lashes.
some rando process stuff :3
An example of a storyboard.
Live stopmotion animation, I like the thematic feel of this animation. This maybe the general theme I will use for my animation.
An example of stopmotion animation made with scanned images and materials.
