I feel so bad for this woman. Like, OP of the post I reblogged poked fun at me for feeling sympathy but seriously, how can you read this and not see how this article reflects the reality for a lot of married women? Reading FDS on reddit, I think a lot of women are waking up.

watching pbs news, they’re talking about the capitol riot and keep referencing that the crowd was almost entirely white, but never mentioned how it was almost entirely men. off hand i can remember two times seeing a woman in a video of the riot. why can we never name male violence? the intersection of race and sex is not only relevant for how people are oppressed, but how people act as oppressors.

Remember that article about Jon Stewart calling JKR antisemitic? And I was very disappointed because I love Jon Stewart? Yeah he straight up tweeted a video where he says that is not true, he never said that, and the news site that reported it is trash.

Someone else may have already posted this but I haven't seen it so I wanted to spread the truth. And not once in the video does he say anything negative towards JKR. It's absolutely insane how news sites just blatantly lie for views nowadays.

I'm not anti JKR because of her gender opinions (based tbh) but I am a bit... JKR critical in relation to race and her (often sexist) depictions of teen girls.

there's nothing in the book descriptions of the goblins that makes them seem jewish (they're just greedy creatures who work at a bank). someone working on the films took that and decided to add hooked noses but jkr didn't give them stereotypically jewish features at all. the movie is different but the books aren't antisemitic at ALL
