"Help! Help!" The red headed girl shouted, causing the people to stop what they were doing and gathered around the damsel in distress. "H-he passed out... Please.." her eyes shone with tears, pleading the citizens, some pitied to help her, and her fellow companion, who was limply placed on her lap unconscious.
Murmurs from the crowd grew louder, as if they were discussing the situation until guards came to the scene. The red head smiled, "Please, help me." she said. One of the guards stared at the girl, "You seem quite familiar, lady." he said, walking forward, one hand behind his back as if he was ready to pull out a weapon.
"O-Oi, over there!" a person from the crowd pointed at the stand of fruits. There stood a man in brown hood, in his hand was an apple, but inside his hood was a mother load of food.
"IT'S THEM! THE THREE THUGS!"
"GET THEM! DEAD OR ALIVE, ESPECIALLY THAT RUNT, LEVI!" The guard ordered, before the others could catch the red head and the unconscious man on her lap. They were already gone from the scene. The guard clicked his tongue when he saw the rest chase after the number one thug in the city, Levi Ackerman.
"LEVI-BRO! MY ACTING WAS GOOD, YEAH?" Finally managing to regroup with the other two, the three thugs ran together as fast as their legs could. "Idiot, next time wear a mask or make sure to cover your hair more." Levi scolded as he continued to run.
"Give the kid a break, Levi." The dirty blonde man chuckled. "Although he's right, Isabel." He teased. "Shut up Farlan!" Isabel fumed, but soon faded when she saw the guards hot on their heels. "Levi." Farlan called. "I know." Levi scanned the surroundings, memorized each route. "Split up!" The two nodded as they reached a particular pathways. This has always been a normal routine for the trio to do. Stealing things such as, food, water, and clothing in other to survive the poor town. Running away from the guards were easier when they got used to it. It was just child's play to them in this situation.
Levi spotted an old wrecked building and decided to stay put there when he managed to get the guards our of his sight. Softly panting, he sat down and sighed. "Pathetic." he spat. "What good are they if they can't even chase us when we do the same damn thing, and go to places they should be familiar with?" He clicked his tongue.
"You can't blame them. They're rather lousy at their duty for Castle Rose." another voice rang to his ears from the shadows. How could he not notice? Pulling out his pocket knife, he went into his fighting stance, ready to attack the person. "Relax, I'm not here to let them catch you." The (h/c) woman spoke as she smiled at Levi. "That's what they all say." He growled, squinting his eyes to get a better look at the woman who stayed put in the shadows of the building.
"How can I make you trust me?" She asked. "Get your ass here out in the light, and show yourself." Levi said, gripping his knife harder. The woman obligated almost instantly and removed her hood. Levi felt his breath hitch at her. She was beautiful. No, not enough to describe her, he thought. "I think I heard something from over there!" Quickly snapping out of his thoughts, both he and the woman heard the guards coming to them. "Quickly." She grabbed his free hand. "Run with me." she pulled him along with her as they ran to who knows where.
"Levi! What took you so long? We were so worried— who's this?" Farlan stopped and stared at the woman that led Levi back to his place and with the other two. "She...helped me get here." Levi muttered. Isabel's eyes sparkled, "Woah, you're so pretty! Wait, how did you know which way to get here? Only the three of us knows this place." That took the other two males attention to the woman. "Yeah... How do we know you didn't lead them here.." Farlan snarled.
The woman chuckled, "Trust me, I've been watching the three of you ever since I snuck out of that horrid place." She laughed. "I wouldn't order them to haunt you three down. I admire you all." She smiled. "Order them? Wait." Levi was about to reach forward when the bell from the castle rang loudly. The woman's eyes widened. "Oh my." turning her heels to the exit. "I must go. But, we'll meet again." She glances at Levi as their eyes met with a longing gaze before running out. "W-wait!" Levi and the other two ran out with her, but stopped when they saw the guards just outside their hideout. They quickly hid themselves, and spied on the situation.
"Princess! We were so worried we couldn't find you anywhere at the castle. Your father had to ring, again." The trios eyes widened. Princess? "Eren it's fine, and please, I told you to drop the formalities and call me, (Y/n) instead. Right, Mikasa?" (Y/n) looked at the tall guardian. "We have to get back, Armin's having a hard time calming himself since he found out you were gone." Eren laughed, "and he's not even the father!" The two of your most trusted guards and your faithful friends guided your way back. You looked behind the shadows and locked eyes with Levi once more. Saddened, you think you'd never see him again.
Little did you know, you two would meet again. Levi would be damned if he didn't see your face again.
"Prince Jean, please leave.." You sighed as you stared at your other suitor. "Give me a chance, my lady! I promise, not only will you get all the gold I have, not to brag but I am a master in the sheets ~" He flirted. Luckily Eren was beside you the whole time and yelled, "She said no, horse face. Get the fuck out!" Eren yelled. Jean hissed, stomping his feet to the ground angrily, before walking out he yelled at you, "THIS IS WHY NO ONE WANTS YOU!" Eren was about to throw a punch at the douche before Mikasa stopped him. "Oi." She called. Before Jean could even register who called, her fist landed a punch on his face, knocking him to the ground before shutting the doors.
"Some dick Prince he is." Eren snarled, "(Y/n), don't believe in what he says, alright? No woman should be forced to marry someone they don't love. Especially a horse." You chuckled lightly. You were getting pissed from the suitors you were getting. They were all trash. Last time, Prince Reiner Braun tried to make his first move on you, Eren, who was pissed as fuck kicked him out without hesitation. Your father, Erwin Smith was a kind and understanding man. He'd allow you to marry anyone as long as he wasn't a thug or a bad influence.
My, if only he knew you'd fallen for Humanities Thug, Levi Ackerman.
"Ohh, I think someone has a crush on the princess. Hmmm???" Isabel smirked as her faced closed in on Levi's before he pushed her away. "Don't be foolish." He sipped his tea. "She's a beauty indeed. Woman like her are rare." Farlan spoke as he cleaned his knife. Levi glared at the blonde, feeling am unnecessary jealousy boil inside him and a hint of protectiveness. "She protected us for Pete's sake, she could've ordered the guards to take us down a long time now! Who knows how long she's been watching us." Farlan sensed Levi's hard gaze on him. "Plus, she saved you."
Levi looked down on his hands as the gold object glimmer in the light. "Whatcha got there big bro?" Isabel piped. "Some shitty lamp I almost tripped on." Spotting a speck of dust on the lamp, he clicked his tongue before rubbing the spot off. "Why pick it up then?" Farlan asked. "It's gold, might make a few money—" "LEVI BRO! IT'S GLOWING!" Eyes widening as the lamp flashed reddish powder from the inside. Letting go of the lamp, the trio huddled together as the lamp bursted.
A human like shadow appeared from the red powder. "Goddamn was it cramped in there!" She whined before stretching. The powder fading away as the trio discovered the woman had no legs. "What the—" Levi was cut off when the woman in glasses palmed his cheeks, "Damn you're short." That made Levi instantly hit her. "Ow! No, seriously. All my masters are tall as Titans, yet. You're so fucking small. It's hilarious!" She gagged from laughter. The trio, still looking as confuse as ever, looked at her. "W-who are you!?" Isabel stuttered. The woman stopped laughing and coughed, "The name is Hanji. Hanji Zoe! You've gotten yourself quite lucky there..." glancing at the raven haired man.
"Levi." Levi said. "Levi! How fate brought me to your presence." Hanji bowed jokingly. "What are you?"Farlan asked. "Well..." A glint of mischief spark in Hanji's eyes. "Let me sing you a little song... My dear thugs."
"So, you're a genie and you can grant three wishes?" Isabel tilted her head. "Mmhmm." Hanji hummed. "But only! Only, for shorty here." She pointed at Levi. "Since he found me. He makes the three wishes." Hanji flew to Levi, "So what's it gon be? Shoes with heels? Leg extensions? Or height??" Hanji blabbered. "Do you ever shut up, shitty glasses?" He groaned at the pestering genie. "When I'm in the lamp, I do." She smiled. "Levi, you should make your wish all to yourself count." Farlan spoke, making the three to look at him. "Anything right? You can wish for your mother back, right?" Looking at Hanji, who somehow now has a book on her hands. "Hmmm making someone back to life? Of course, of course, what do you think I am?" She laughed but then sighed, "I just really want to be free.." she mumbled, in which Levi caught on.
"What do you mean, dip shit?" He questioned. "Eh? Oh, us genies are like slaves to the good and evil. Our powers could fall into the wrong hands...and I..." she paused. "I want to explore the world without a single burden on my shoulders... I want to be free, and not end up in the wrong hands.." Hanji sighed. "I'm counting that as my final wish then." Levi said, walking to the large open view, Castle Rose can be seen clearly. "W-what?" "Clean your ears would you? I said I'd make my last wish your freedom." Levi groaned, but eyes soften as he gazed on the castle. Hanji's eyes sparkled. She found the worthy master. "Then it settles! First your mom, then Hanji. What about your second wish?" Farlan asked. "Oh, oh! I know! How about to make the princess fall in love with you!" Isabel squealed.
"Oh? You're in love?" Hanji smirked. Levi, still stuck on the thoughts of (Y/n) nodded. "I want to impress her.." He spoke, still glancing at the castle, dreaming of one day to be there with her, his friends out of the filthy rut they stayed until now. "I want to be the man that would suit her. Someone worthy for her." He then looked at Hanji. Hanji's mouth was agape, "But you already are worthy, Levi." Her serious tone caught him by surprise. "You just have to be you." She tried to convince him. Levi shook his head, "I'm a thug, a man with no title or anything to provide or support for someone as royal as her. I have to be deserving enough for her. So that's my first wish." He looked at Hanji, eyes shining with determination.
Sighing as you gaze upon the city from your room balcony, your thoughts wondered off to that familiar thug you kept your eye on. Levi. "I wonder what could Levi be doing now." You said, sighing dreamily. The thug can steel anything, and your heart was one of them. You knew your father wouldn't allow, but you wanted to tell him how you felt about him. The only problem was he still hasn't return back from who knows where he was. You were about to walk to your room when you felt a gust of wind blew into your face softly, your hair flowing graciously out as goosebumps formed on your skin. "Hey." You gasped. In front of you, was a flying carpet and with Levi on it. "Y-you." You stuttered, feeling your cheeks heat up. Not believing on what you were seeing. Levi chuckle, extending his arm to you. You titled your head in confusion. Did he want you to ride that thing? "Do you trust me?" He asked. Looking back, you hoped Mikasa, Eren are asleep by now along with your worrisome friend, Armin. You smiled, taking his hand as you felt a delightful spark in your nerves. "I've always have."
Finally pulling you up with him, you wobbled a little, nervous yet excited. "Relax. Just hold my hand." His hand held yours tightly as you relaxed and sat down crossed legs beside him. The carpet soaring up to the night sky, you smiled brightly. The outside world, you could see everything. Unaware a pair of loving eyes watching your shining orbs gaze upon everything with so much life and interest. He knew he made his first wish right if it meant having moments like this with you, his dear princess.
"I've never seen big bro so happy." Isabel gawked as her eyes spotted a smile on the stoic man's face. "Why is that?" Hanji asked. "He was never the lucky one with happiness. It's rare to see him smile. Yet, it feels nice to see him happy." Farlan smiled at the genie, awaiting for the two love birds adventure.
Looking at Levi as he escorted you back to your balcony, "Thank you, Levi." You smiled brightly. "Really, you've made this all so... Magical I just.." You blushed looking down. "I don't know what to say." You laughed lightly, Levi smiled softly before reaching out his hand to cup your cheek. Fingers stroking the soft skin. "No need to thank me, Princess." his voice sent shivers down your spine as he cages in closer. "I did all this just so I can spend time with you." he pressed his forehead against yours. Hypnotized by his steel eyes as your cheeks reddened even more. Seeing his eyes flicker on your lips, your heart pounded. He was definitely the one you want to be with.
"(Y/n)! Your father's back! But he's bleeding to death!" The door flew open, revealing a distressed and confused Armin. Pulling away from Levi you gasped, "W-who's thi—" "Armin where's dad?" You panicked. Ignoring the man, Armin guided you down with Levi following you.
"Levi/Big bro/shorty!" The three said in unison as they somehow got inside the castle. "We saw the King, he stomach was severely injured." Farlan said. "His guts were blown....there's no way in hell a person would survive that." Hanji reviewed the body of King Erwin. "Hands up, you thugs." Mikasa threatened, "I don't know what the hell you're doing here, but you all are under arrest."
"Mikasa, no! There's with me don't worry." You calmed the deadly woman. Kneeling down to your father, you cried, "Dad, dad please pull through this..." You begged. "We need you.." Hanji glances at Levi, who looked down deep in thought. "Levi?"
He had two wishes left. His mother and Hanji's. He wanted to have his mother so badly by his side, but the thought of betraying Hanji? What kind of person would he be to break a promise. Realization then hit him. He can't have everything he wanted. Unfair, he thought bitterly, and sighed. He had to be true to himself as Hanji told him.
He knew what he had to do.
"Oi, shitty glasses. I'm ready for that third wish."
"Why'd you do it?" You asked, seating comfortably at the window view from your room. "Why did you wish for my father's life, when you could've had your mother that time?" Levi kneeled down and placed his hand on your lap, grasping your hand. "I can't always have both things I love. It was either you or my mother. And I know your father's an important man in this world. My mother needed to rest after everything she's done for me." Levi said, kissing your knuckles lovingly.
"I never regret making any wishes." He said. "As long as the family I have right now is fine, I couldn't be more happier." You smiled, stroking his hair. "I wanted you to be happy. And I wanted to be deserving." Levi added, you frowned and cupped his cheeks. "You being you is enough to make me happy, Levi. I don't care if you have no title, or any princely mattered stuff." pulling him up for a short peck on the lips, "I fell in love with you. And you being here with me now is all I ever wanted and enough to make me happy." You smiled, nuzzling into his face as he did the same too.
"HEY LOVE SHITS THERE'S A FEAST DOWNSTAIRS. GOD I NEVER KNEW FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!" A certain glassed woman barged in the room. Levi clicked his tongue in annoyance, "I don't know if I should regret freeing you from that lamp." he groaned making you giggle. "You love me shortieee hehehehe, don't suck each to hers face to much or you won't have room for dessert! Isabel is chowing down like a pig!" with that Hanji ran off, happily freed from the lamp.
"Where were we?" You giggled before he hovered over you on the bed, kissing you passionately while holding you close to his body. He vowed to stay true to himself from now on, and cherish everything he has done to get here. Now this was an life he could get use to.
