Okay normally I don't post on here but I thought it was only fitting since I imagine it on Tumblr. So I had a dream today and the dream was at work. Everything else is super irrelevant. The point is, in the dream I saw someone post a few seconds of animation, where Vox was a fairy and it looked like he was flying away from something. He still had his Flat TV-head and was wearing a navy blue single strap mini tank top and a skort with 2 light blue highlights on the shorts and on the sides of the top. He also was wearing navy blue Gogo boots with similar trimming. He then transforms into a mermaid and starts falling into the water. He was flying very close to the water so no fall damage. The background looked gorgeous with I think a futuristic home, so probably a scifi-fantasy. What is my point? My point is I need someone to animate, draw or write about this AU stat! And I would do it but I'm too busy with work to care. Lol. So if someone wants to make it please do it! I wanna see it!

Wait hold on I just read the ask about what if hgh Alastor was the one to recognize Vox first and how he teases him a bit before revealing the truth and that's just freaking hilarious to me. Like Alastor suddenly stopping the fight and saying something that was clearly flirty, and Vox has a record scratch moment trying to comprehend what is happening and reevaluating all past interactions. Was this guy sizing him up through fights all this time not as an enemy but as a potential romantic partner? Did he pass? Fuck! How does one reject the most powerful sinner's advances?? And wait, double fuck, how can does he explain it to HIS Al if a rumor of this interaction reaches him before Vox can? Would Aleister try to kill Alastor? How powerful is his husband right now?? And meanwhile Alastor is looking at Vox have a conniption due to a thousand possibilities going a mile a minute in his mind and trying not to laugh and give himself away immediately hdkzgJsvsh

even tho the moment would only last like 3 minutes its still a really funny idea to me. tragic its not canon

i think i don't really vibe with most other fans of my favorite male characters is because they usually depict them too much of a man, and i am not interested in men, i am interested in The Character. and i am not saying that they should depict them as women, or nonbinary, or should depict them as feminine, no, not at all. but there's like, you know, you can depict a male character as The Character, and you can depict them as The Man. do you get me? like, i go to the fandom looking for art and fics, and it's just, regardless of his actual characterization, it's all just fantasizing about some kind of an abstract dominant patriarch, wearing my favorite character's face. it may be the most totally-wouldnt-have-normal-relationships (and sometimes even would-literally-abuse-you) kind of guy, and you join a dedicated space for his fans, and all they talk about is how they want to marry and start a tradcore 50s style nuclear family with him. it can be a guy who's arrogance and attempts of domination are explicitly shown to be a facade that hide the fact that he's actually kind of a massive pathetic wet loser, and you go to his fics, and they're all depicting him as a caricaturish daddy dom. at this point it's like, do you even like the character at all, or do you just like The Man, and project this man onto whatever character you find visually attractive? and these people kind of, really really poison actual discussion of the character, who is kind of a fucked up evil person (i only like *those* types, so im talking about them) because they see analysis of the actual character as an attack on their fantasized daddy dom husband, who is actually isn't The Character at all, and is simply a face of the day for The Man

I Am Not a Computer Expert or Coder! So take my words with a grain of salt!

So, what I can tell is that the code that is fucking with AO3's servers is 525, which is a Cloudflare error. And apparently, the problem lies in AO3's servers not having a valid SSL certificate, a mismatched connection, or a firewall blocking port 443. Now, the server probably didn't have an invalid or expired certificate because I definitely believe AO3 is always on top of renewing and/or having a valid one. So hopefully they somehow got a mismatch in server connections (aka accidentally had put it on Full (Strict) mode or just a simple misconnection. But if it's a port blocked, we might be here for a while. If there are any computer experts or coders who understand this stuff better than me, please tell me, so I can understand this better. I'm not exactly too worried about AO3 being down, but it's quite interesting to go through it. I may have been through it at an earlier point, but I went to sleep by then. So hopefully the servers will be back up, and we'll be golden. ^^ Try to stay strong, guys. Maybe just read some manga or read the books/e-books you have at home? Whatever you can to sleep. Just try to get some sleep as soon as possible, okay? Hopefully, it will be back up in a few hours or the next day, and we can all go back to reading the fics that we want.
