Mis dos obsesiones de la infancia combinadas, hoy comimos bien

Con un nuevo semestre empezando y el regreso al tedio del trabajo de oficina no he podido evitar pensar en lo difícil que me resulta mantener conexiones con otras personas. Mucho de eso tiene que ver con mi autopercepción; que no soy interesante, mi trato es superficial y no atrae a otras personas, que mi mente no es lo suficientemente rápida para interactuar, y yo termino encerrandome a mi misma fuera del alcance de los demás.

Me molestaba a un nivel subconsciente pero siempre he preferido ahogar el ruido de mi cabeza con cosas externas sin importancia pero ahora que el trabajo se encuentra lento y el regreso a la universidad está más cerca que nunca me devuelve al frío vacío en mi pecho cuando me doy cuenta que la gente a mí alrededor tiene a alguien en quien contar y yo no he hablado con nadie en horas.

Es solitario, en un nivel personal es desalentador y a un nivel profesional preocupante. Mi carrera es en las artes visuales que si bien en cuestión de producción se motiva y es necesaria la introspección, en cuestiones de mercado y difusión es también necesario, a mi parecer, el construir relaciones interpersonales con otros artistas, mínimo a un nivel profesional, preferentemente también en un nivel de principios y valores si se desea colaborar, que en el ambiente artístico de este país parece también necesario.

Todo esto me lleva a la conclusión de que debo trabajar en mis habilidades sociales, es más fácil decirlo que hacerlo, pero en este punto ya no hay opción. En estas circunstancias no queda de otra más que crecer y avanzar.
