Any good Yuri recommendations? I finished Sakura Trick yesterday. The story wasn't the best, but the two girls were adorable together so...

For anime I would suggest: Strawberry Panic(I’m biased toward it cause it’s my favorite), Revolutionary Girl, Yuru Yuri, Yuri Kuma Arashi, Maria Holic, Kannazuki no Miko, Maria-sama ga Miteru, Candy Boy, Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, Aoi Hana, Whispered Words, and Sweet Blue Flowers. There’s plenty more but these are just top ones I think of first.

Now for some manga: Citrus, Strawberry Panic, Kase-san, Kiss and White Lily for My Dearest Girl, Prism, Love/Death, Girlfriends, Bloom into You, Aoi Hana, Her Pet, Their Story, The Love Doctor, Shimanami Tasogare(yuri isn’t the main plot of it but it’s a extremely good manga and there’s a cute lesbian couple in it who are part of the main characters)

There’s actually a lot of really good yuri/shoujo ai manga and anime but these are just what come to mind first. Also most of these are the most popular.

Every time I watch Frozen, I pay attention to Elsa's "your life awaits" line, trying to see what the hell you love so much about it, but there is literally nothing remotely spectacular about her expressions or delivery or anything. So what gives?

look at her eyes

look at how much she loves Anna and knows how much pain she’s caused her but that doesn’t matter any more because for the first time she knows Anna has a chance for happiness back at Arendelle and Elsa’s more than willing to stay hidden in the mountains where she knows she can’t hurt anyone, to give her sister the opportunity to finally blossom

a lot of people claim that Elsa’s selfish, or uncaring, or unlikable or a bitch in ways similar to how other people say Anna’s vapid or annoying or useless and it’s clear that they just don’t understand their characters at all because they’re not any of those things

she loves her baby sister more than anything in the world and that’s why she decided to stay in the palace, to tell Anna to go back home and enjoy the sun and open the gates, because she knows that if she isolates herself from the rest of the world then Anna is safe and has the chance to be happy, and Anna loves Elsa just as much which is why she sacrificed herself at the end of the movie

look at the pride and longing and admiration and hope and pain and love in her eyes as she delivers the line “your life awaits” and you’ll see why it’s probably my favourite piece of animation from the entire movie because of how subtle and realistic and sincere it is

going to comment a little on this game: the overseeing voice talks as if it owns you, and defies your free will. if you follow its orders, you are praised, and the worldview becomes sharper and more detailed. if you don’t, you are chastised, and the world becomes more vague and difficult to navigate, but also more colourful and loud. it’s odd, and sort of eerie, but definitely interesting. take it as you will.

I went against everything it said. It accused me of being ugly, disgusting, disappointing, asked me why I hated it, if i was scared or not. It begged me to stay. The game got harder because I didn’t do what it said. Because doing what it said was the easier path. But everything was so full of colour and the colours changed a lot. It just took a lot of trying, a lot of failing and a lot me cursing to get through it.

For some reason the entire game feels like a giant metaphor for abuses relationships, and I mean family and friendships as well.
