Yayayaya!! The Ground and Ubi Caritas are my favorites
Reminder I doodled while cramming for Arch… And I may or may not be watching KUWTK omg the lengths procrastination drives me to!! #studyblr #studygram #lettering

Sunday’s setup (in bed…feeling lazy)
Looks like a tasty breakfast! 😊

02.01.16 — “better dead than red. so are you with me or against me?”
World History notes ft. some super cute header inspiration from @studyrose. Rewriting is a slow, tedious process but I find myself enjoying the familiar sense of routine it brings. Also, I busted out my pretty pink Faber Castells and I really like the whole color scheme I have going on those banners.
sociology revision before my exam tomorrow 🙀
so in my greek class we were talking about oral composition and how something like the iliad must have been composed, and my prof asked us to consider how we would rapidly compose something like poetry on the spot. and i think it was a really important exercise not just for understanding the construction of an oral epic but also for reminding us of how great works can come from supposedly “humble” origins. so if anyone is ever snobby about their homer, just remind them that, as my professor put it, the iliad is basically ancient freestyle rap, and homer is much closer to jay z than to f. scott fitzgerald
basically what i’m saying is please imagine homer asking someone to give him a beat on the lyre and then dropping the sickest fucking meter ever. the ill-iad, by lil homie

5 study moods for STEM majors
inspired by @howtomusicmajor!
lets be real, studying can be super boring when you’re not feeling inspired. these are my fav five moods to practice while im studying! its simple and personally makes me feel like i have a stronger sense of purpose
no rush review - looking over lecture notes, lots of natural lighting, peppermint tea, the happiest pop hits, a few close friends
ideal for a sunday when you want to prep yourself for the new week by reviewing your notes to make sure you know whats up during class! i love spending my sundays with friends so we can get each other excited for the week up ahead
energized early bird - waking up at 7am for a quick morning run, piping hot green tea, penning deadlines in a planner, organizing notes, assigning priorities for the week, writing down weekly goals, tidying up and putting away stray notebooks and clothes, blasting the best bollywood jams from my childhood
the best way to start a monday morning!!! taking time at the beginning of the week to declutter your mind, schedule, and living space will do wonders for your morale and energy. and what better way to start the week than dancing along to your fav songs from childhood while you get your life organized
mellow steady focus - a packet of practice problems, spanish guitar, coconut water, baby mandarins to snack on, a warm sunlit patio
my perfect storm of environment+food+music to sit down and knock out a ton of practice problems for my engineering classes. the combo of spanish guitar and sunlight keeps me feeling perky and wide awake
get shit done - pounding out a solid lab report, a cozy sweater, hot black coffee, lots of water to stay hydrated, a trustworthy study buddy and a lively coffee shop, phone on do not disturb mode
the energy and background noise of everyone else around me keeps me stimulated, and my study buddy will keep me focused (aka yell at me if i get on my phone and start messing around). i prefer writing my chemistry lab reports all in one go because i find it easiest when i continue the same train of thought and writing style. i feel super accomplished when i finish writing and take a long break to relax my brain and enjoy the company of my friend
engineering barbie - wearing your power scent, a tall bottle of fresh fruit juice, a silent study lounge, britney spears playlist, creating color coded study guides, an assortment of bright pens and a ruler
my favorite way to prep for exams is going over all my lecture notes and creating condensed study guides on white printer paper that have color coded sections according to topic or type of information (like equations, theorems, applications, etc). then when it comes time to actually study, i have five pages to look at instead of twenty messy notebook pages from lecture.

my studyblr tag for more study posts!
I had some free time this afternoon so I rewrote some notes 😃. Recently I decided to go paperless with my Ipad and a stylus. It’s been two weeks since I purchased notes plus and fortunately I’m not disappointed. I’m more of a visual learner, so the app has helped me a lot since I can add pictures, color and shapes to my notes. I might write more about my experience in the future, but for now I’m still getting used to it.
This is so pretty and such a good alternative for people who feel like paper isn’t their preferred note taking tool 👍
01.17.16 7/100 days of productivity
Sipping on my black iced coffee and writing out Neurobiology lecture notes ❄️
