NHL wife theory

I saw a comment once that all NHL wives fit a certain category. White, blonde or light coloured hair. What are the odds of a majority of them being almost exactly the same. So what if a majority of the players are gay and the NHL assigns them 'girlfriends and wives' to hide the fact because it is still a very much toxic male environment for the most part. The women get to live in amazing homes and travel and the guys get to still be with their boyfriends under the pretense of 'close friends'. Who is going think otherwise, "He can't be gay he's married" Lavender marriages all round 💜

(This is just a fun theory and no way to assume anyone's orientation as that is a personal thing that other people shouldn't pry into)

Didn’t matthew reach out to him first? When Brad got traded. He said so when Chucky got interviewed by Kay Adams.

As they were becoming teammates I'm sure he would of had to reach out and welcome him. I don't know, maybe I'm just imagining all of this.

Totally get what you mean! They did hang out together at one of the wags birthday parties and were talking to each other. Politically who knows where Marchand lies. He did wear a thin blue line hat so 🤷‍♀️

I just worry because they are so similar that sometimes it works, sometimes it can be very abrasive. In the clips I've seen they seem very stiffly cordial. Brad leans more into the headpats and celebratory hugs than Matthew. I just saw that interview with PatMcAcfee show and it does make me feel alot better that Matthew had so many positive things to say about Brad.

They literally had a moment last game after the empty netter. They had a ritual now after a win. Matthew looked so thrilled when Marchy was being a rat with him and Benny. AND matthew just went to mcafee show earlier and said nothing but good things about Marchy.

I just saw that interview on the PatMcAfee show I do feel alot more reasured. I guess I was a bit worried, they are both similar, sometimes it works and sometimes they can end up being very abrasive. In most of the clips I see of them together, they dont dont seem to interact as much as the others do with them. I guess I was reading too much into it.

Why do I have a bad feeling that Matthew still doesn't like Brad? I know they are on the same team now and they should put their past aside. Maybe I'm imagining it, but Matthew doesn't reciprocate the same level of head pats that Brad gives him even though he has joined in the Rat ritual with Sasha and Roddy. I really hope I'm wrong and behind the cameras, they don't have to be close but are at least good teammates.

Sick of finding RPF fandoms I like in the middle of transitions. Can't get attached to anyone because they are never who you thought they were or moved on to other people, so the otp you had no longer works.
