Sense and Sensibility and Socio-economics (Ch. 1-2) The sisters’ living situation isn’t great, but it’s comfortable. The worse is that they’re basically dependent on their half-brother, who feels a sense to carry out his obligations, but has no strong feelings for them personally. That’s basically where they are.

Now that I’ve finished Dawn of Wonder, I’m starting a new book. This one is Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. I honestly can’t recall if I’ve actually read it, or just read about it before. Either way I don’t seem to remember enough about it to recall much of anything about the characters.

So, here I am! This time I’m definitely going to remember reading this book!

Aedan overhears a meeting he’s not supposed to about trouble brewing. Fennlor is readying for an attack, Lekrau stealing people is mentioned, and there’s really weird, fantastical storms in DinEilan.

Chapter 23

Renshaw characterizes the characters more. Vayle is lazy, Aedan has bad breath (Liru gives him a toothbrush), Lorrimer is messy, Hadley is impulsive, and Peashot steals things. Like, things happen (like Peashot’s peashooter is taken away from him for a while), but this book is long and it doesn’t seem all that particularly important.
