Today I watched my best friend row for the first time. It was amazing beyond words. I will go through the pictures I got on my camera later today, but for now I will say this: @smithonwheels, you are truly one of the most talented, strong, and persevering people I know. Thank you for the privilege of being by your side as you raced straight into the finals of your first World Championships. (at 2017 World Rowing Championships)

Any woolly friends out there got any advice on knitting colourwork socks? After knitting the design twice now I can’t seem to stop it being too tight to get on my foot! Does anybody have any tips?

You probably need more stitches than you would otherwise, or larger needles. Colorwork is notorious for pulling tight.

#harrypotter, thank you for being such an amazing influence in my life, for leading me to experience new places and meet new people and for showing me how strong words on a page can be. Thank you for providing a literary escape both for the little girl I was when reading the books for the first time to the young woman I've become (reading the books for what must be the dozenth time). I am proud to be a Harry Potter nerd, and I have and will always be a proud #hufflepuff.
