Over a recent and quiet weekend, I started illustrating again and entered The Club Of Odd Volumes competition. (check them out - they're a nice artist and business initiative based in Sydney)

I've been wanting to get back into illustrating for a few years now - and no, I don't count illustration projects for clients or work etc etc, but more of the illustration that I used to make up in the back of my mind and would draw up without a care in the world. During university degree, my days were filled with stress and tears - I never had the urge to draw anything. I only ever had the motivation of a sloth. But now I see the excitement again. With my motivation right up here *hands stretched above my head* I am keen to get this idea of a little personal project of mind going. And hopefully I can actually commit to it this time.
