I think the thing about Vinny and The Guardian as a role in general that gets to me the most is that I do not think anyone can be The Guardian. Like yeah you can get called that, you can have those expectations put on you like Jeff had since the beginning, but you can never actually live up to something like that. It's a losing game, an impossible gambit. Jeff failed tremendously at being any kind of Guardian, and he's supposed to embody it. You can't save everyone, not even yourself, and in trying to go down that path I think you just destroy yourself and everyone around you even more than you otherwise would have. Soooo.... Thinking about that, paired with how 1. Vinny is not the Guardian, and 2. Vinny took on that mantle as a guise anyways and 3. Vinny was canonically abused since all the way back in childhood in Fairmount, all together has me feeling some type of way about what the idea of "being the Guardian" means in a more metaphorical kind of way, and how Vinny's complex with taking up the mantle while actually being The Voyeur ties into it, but I don't really think I'm smart enough (or awake enough) to word it in a way that makes sense. I'm not the Vinny expert I'm just the Vinny i'mgoinginsane-er
